Sonic The Fighters Goes Digital

Sega have annouced, old arcade game Sonic the Fighters is making its way to Xbox Arcade, PSN and PC. It it confirmed it will have HD visuals, no word of online play yet​

Sega must be running out of shit to port now, kind of insulting when they have stuff like Fighters Megamix or Panzer Dragoon Saga under there belt

SEGA is running out of thing's to port now, no? Wrong they should port Daytona USA 2 and Scud Race, fans have been asking for those two to be ported since the time they were released in the arcade.

The songs could definitely use some work but I liked that game overall. I think it's one of those shit games that you just enjoy for some reason.

I played this game once in Sonic Gems Collection I think. It was okay. Do I want a digital re-release? No. Do I want the original arcade machine in my room? You bet I do.

It's gimmicky, I kind of enjoyed it. Now, remember - this used to be an arcade game, definitely not something you play for hours upon hours - rather something that you spend a quarter on and play for a while every now and then.

I remember this, it gets such a bad wrap. when it can really be plenty of fun single or two player. That said why not post skies of arcadia, knuckles chaotix, panzer dragoon, sonic xtreme, etc. They have plenty of better titles to bring over and make HD. *cough*billy hatcher*cough*

Seriously though, Sonic R sucked harder than a black hole full of hoovers. As for Sonic the Fighters, I've always hated spammy games that require no skill, but that took the cake. It was beyond terrible. You can clear the whole game just hammering away at the punch button.
