The DS Tool won't let me paste the new AP patch into the program.
I'm using v1.0 build 1215.

When I check for updates the AP Database shows 2.0.1 already installed ?

Any idea's on how to use the new AP Patch? Should I just wait for RetroGameFan to update the tool?

Can anybody tell me why i can run White 2 (DSTWo, Clean Mode) without ANY Problem (Challenge Mode in patched Mode activated) but Black 2 does not?

If i run it in Patched mode the games freeze when i check my pokemon

Supercard DSTwo, latest EoS, patched rom of White 2:

- Freezes after battle Vs. Hugh in PWT when in Patched mode. Works fine in Clean mode.

So you've applied RetroGameFan's AP patch to a White 2 rom and have been running that in patch mode?
I was just about to post that that was working for me without crashes, but perhaps I need to play further on before I can make that assessment.
I've been playing for over 4 hours, but I've only got the first gym badge so far.

I hex edited it manually.

Well, if you've modified the same values then I guess there's not really a difference.
Guess I'll keep looking to see if mine crashes anywhere before I post more about it.

Well in any case, don't forget to save before doing the PWT, in case it crashes for you too.
Rule of thumb would be to save often, really.

the same crash happens with supercard DSone with dicastia. anyone knows how to transfer your save file from patch mode to clean mode with supercard? i always hjave to start a new game when usuing clean mode

Here are issues I've encountered with Black 2, patched, in patch mode.

Flashcart: SCDS2

Issues:
1. Game freezes upon saving after unlocking more boxes or box wallpapers. (Starts saving, then freezes.)
2. Freezes on 2nd match of PWT. (Fixed in clean mode)

So after hours of try and error i finally got Pokemon White 2 to work with my DSONE card, but somethings are still not right-.-'

I used a clean rom and patched it with the scene tool, the only AP patch that would let me start it. I also NEEDED to trim the rom, maybe my micro sd dont support such big file or the EOS, otherwise it would load forever.
It lets me start with no problems, I can create my char and watch the first movie clip, but after that ALL buildings are just missing! Could that be another AP thingie or is it because i trimed the rom?

I hope someone can help me with this.

Hey, way too many pages to go through to see if anyone's encountered this, so here's my question: Does the AP patch/fix or w/e fix the issue where leaving the Pokemon party screen always results in a freeze? That seems to be the only problem I've encountered so far and it'll be really annoying later on when I'm dealing with a whole party.

Okay. I am having an issue. This happens on both Black 2 and White 2.
I am using RGF's latest YSmenu on a clone DSTTi and having a problem receiving the Genesect from Mystery Gift.
When the game is supposed to reset, it freezes at the white screen. This also happens when wifi settings are changed from the title menu.
Anyone know how to fix this?

I can confirm r4i gold 3ds with wood 1.52 is working 100% with ap patch

I have a r4i gold 3ds (r4ids.cn)on a 3DSXL with firmware 4.3.0-10U, and the game doesn't work.

Cart is showing Rafal Nadal Tennis, wood 1.52, and all I get is the red loading screen when launching the game (AP Patched).

I tried upgrading the r4i gold 3ds, with the patch in the OP, but my cart is a PCB 7, the update patch in the OP is only for 9 and up (A,B, or C).

So looks like I have to wait for r4ids.cn to update the firmware to play this game.

You may have to reformat your microSD card to get it to work. I'm in the exact same situation you're in and thats the only thing I haven't done. I would try this out right away but I don't have my micro SD reader with me and the only method I have to transfer data to it is through my phone and for some reason it takes forever just to do anything and I'm too impatient to try transferring all my files, formatting, and then transferring them all back (seriously it would probably take 12 hours)

Also your r4i-gold is an r4i-gold (non-3ds), not the r4i-gold 3ds. Also it has nothing to do with the patch of the r4i-gold because that just pertains to the getting the cart to work on the system, not the games.

I was always using the patch method in the OP, but then saw some people mentioning using the DS Scene Rom tool, and once I used that to AP patch, the games have worked in desmume for me. Once I get home I will try it on my 3DS XL.

Oh and I do that the r4i-gold 3DS, not sure why you say it's not a 3DS? (It shows right on the front R4i Gold 3DS)

Used patched on YSmenu with Retrogamefans latest update with a R4i-sdhc/3DS it loads the game but freezes when trying to save, yet to try any battles. Doesn't go past the Intro when your name is asked when using a clean rom.

I looked into it more and you're right. Mine doesn't have the 3DS on it but it still supports the R4i Gold 3DS firmware. Anything revision 5 and above is 3DS anything below is not. The R4i-Gold 3DS is split into 6,7,8 and 9,A,B,C. So far we can't use them on the newest system update for the 3DS, sounds like they'll have an update done soon though.

I still haven't got the game to work on my r4i-gold. I did however get it to run in the desmume and on my older R4 with wood 1.52 and it work just fine. So i'm just playing it on that for now until I can reformat my SD card tomorrow. Let me know if you get it to work.
