Moving on from my previous thread "Games That Need Porting" lets start a discussion on what games you want to see made on Wii U and how you'd like the gamepad to be incorperated.

I am still hoping on a console version of Golden Sun with the gamepad use for touch commands during battles and for puzzle solving. Also a new F-Zero with the gamepad used for steering, the screen could be used for the map offline but when online you can switch between the map or a video chat type deal using the camera with the screen split into 8 boxes showing the top 8 racers in live video format. Maybe that sound abit silly though.

The only idea for a game that could actually work better for the Wii U instead of the 3DS is some sort of "Silent Scope" game which has you moving the screen overlapping the bigger screen, which would obviously be tiresome depending on the weight of the tablet and/or the strength of the player to maintain holding the tablet up. Other than that, I can't think of a single game that wouldn't work perfectly well on the 3DS without the need for the Wii U. I'm sorry if I've gone wildly off topic. Please report this response for immediate embarrassing deletion.

I think that Wii U will be the best multiplayer console of all time. The single player experience will be overall the same as other consoles, but the hability that allow one player to have it's own screen will be the great difference. The now famous asymmetric gameplay will be the key factor for the Wii U success, IMO. You guys pointing the games that you think that should be made for the Wii U should try to explain why do you think the game would benefit from the GamePad, i think that's the point of this thread.

Donkey Kong Country 4, F-Zero: U and Super Mario Universe.
You mean DKC 5, right?

DKCR doesnt count, lol

(yeah, yeah...I know it's pretty different. But it's an awesome game nonetheless).

An obvious choice is a Zelda Four Swords game. However, the gamepad per system limit makes online play a must for this game.
The limit is actually two (it's just that no launch games make use of it). But even if only one wiipad, it could still work offline. I don't think it'll be that hard to play the game while watching the wiipad your neighbor's holding.

In any case: I mostly agree with previous mentions:
-Zelda 4 swords U. Why reinvent asynchronous gameplay when you already invented it years ago? Also: an isometric perspective Zelda will draw in new blood :) (friends of mine only bought a wii once I demonstrated them that not all those games are 3D...they've immediately bought Kirby, NSMBW and Rayman with it...and they're old Zelda fans).
-F-Zero U. It's kind of stupid that the best racer of the wii is actually a gamecube game. Plus: it would be the main choice to show off the graphical potential of the thing (heck...F-zero GX already looks better than most wii games).

There was a reason it wasnt actually called DKC4! and I hope FZERO U doesnt look too much like Wipeout, because concept wise they are really similar..
