Entering the eShop now, my 3DS just asked to do a new update, I'm in version 4.3.0-10U

Edit:

Firmware is now 4.4.0-10U

3DS Update News:
  • Added some features that make the 3DS run as fast as greased lightning! This includes: Blocking flashcards
  • Nothing else, we just felt like blocking your flashcards!
  • Have fun, it's a superb update that we worked on for weeks!

I think te last number was increasing with each update, but now is still showing 10.... any new feature?? Cause I stoped updating my 3DS since version 4.2...

I can heard the hordes of noobs who updated their system before their card updated crying now.

HAHA 'Truth

I have no flashcard, so I can not tell if it was blocked ... I'm wondering if this update has anything to do with such "MiiVerse"

Nintendo is starting to be annoying with these updates.
They do nothing but block flashcards
I would be happy to see a update that give us flash support,
or html5 support,
or/and a youtube app.

Nintendo actually has the right to protect their product.
Not to mention there really isn't a need for flash, HTML5, nor youtube. People have enough devices that do all those things already.
Admittedly it would be nice to see Nintendo actually have a worthwhile update for once, but then again no one is forcing you to update your system.

Lol, you don't like it? Get a DS lite. They are ALLOWED to blocked them considering it's their system.
Furthermore no one is forcing you to update.

It would be pretty amazing to be able to watch youtube 3D videos on 3DS, don't you want it?
Of course Nintendo has the right, but it doesn't make this less annoying.
Nintendo does not force people to update, but now and them we see a message pop up on the screen asking for update,
this is annoying, and I'm not the only one who thinks that.

I can't even see the 3D effect, so I am pretty indifferent about that. I am pretty sure some people would be interested, but it's not really a huge selling point.
It maybe annoying, but still not a forced update. You can easily say "no" to the update and just use the system normally.

I'd have to agree with this. if anything, nintendo needs to be thinking about their eshop content. it's become a dumping ground for garbage.

Why are you crying? Why are you blaming Nintendo for protecting their system? Beside that, third party developers demand this kind of action.

We should get used to it, sony do this all the time, nintendo did it many times on DSi, and, as Catboy said, if you don't want, just hit "no" and stop complaining.

Now on topic, does anyone has a REAL changelog? I cant find it at all.
