Well the RC3 fixes my sync issue with the NAND games. As for Devolution, it doesn't seem to matter where the WiiFlow boot.dol is as long as it's ran from the HB Channel. Hmmm... I don't really know enough about AHBPROT but I'm wondering if I could find/make a forwarder WiiFlow Channel that would boot it like this...

@MassiveRican = Yeah it is better having all WiiFlow files on 1 device rather than scattered around.

I dont know which d2x version you have, but I use d2x v9 beta r49 and that automatically enables that patched AHBPROT for me...

How about adding a way to interactively change NANDS within WiiFlow the way you can in PL4 or neek2o itself? I'm not fond of having to open WiiXplorer and change the path in the .ini every time I need to switch up my NANDS which is why I don't do it. I don't know how difficult this would be to implement and it's more like a major feature addition than the bug fixes which you're currently focusing on (by the way I love the current bug fixing cycle you're on [member='fix94']).
That would be awesome! But it sounds really complex. Then we could use Quadforce for all 2 of the MKA games.

d2x v8... Now come to think of it, Devolution was booting back when I had v9 installed but someone said that my audio issues were due to using v9 so I changed it back to 8.
I've still got all of the wads on the SD card..yes.... d2x v9 (beta49) ... Not sure if that's the newest or not.

Yes it seems to be, so I will install that real quick here...

YES! that was it... Now devo even boots with no SD card even in the WII.
I can't believe that it was a d2x issue for me. Thanks for help everyone. :yay:
And pushing the power button to exit devo now returns to the WiiFlow in Emu-view.
I can't leave well enough alone so I just tried Exit to Neek2o and still that flashing blue light.

Can you boot games from emu nand games with the launch neek option?
Yes. I have WiiWare Castlevania Adventure NTSC installed in the nand and that's the only way that it works (with the launch Title with neek option enabled) Otherwise it will freeze after the Konami logo. My wiiflow NAND is in USB:1/wiiflow/nandemu

Oh.. Also when I exit the above Castlevania game, it lauches my last used Uneek NAND (even if it was the wiiflow game save NAND) instead of the (real) system menu, even though the Uneek NANDs are in the root at USB1:/NANDS/ (with an S) like USB2:/NANDS/4.3U . I have 3 different NANDS in the NANDS folder.

681 Nand mode test results:
1.Wiimote sync works fine in nand mode
2.Launching WW via cIOS works fine and returns to Wii mode
3.Launching WW via neek2o works fine and returns to emunand SM
4.launching wiiflow from emunand displays error about cIOS not found 249, 250...
5.If a cIOS is present WF starts, games are not detected (install game/select partition pops up) and wiimote Sync is lost

n.b. if wf dol is on SD and a different wf dol is on usb, exit to neek2o, launching WF from neek2o always starts the dol on usb (Sd should be checked first to solve this issue)
way to go :)

Edit: WF in Emumode worked best in rev 671/672 where "back to WF" on uneek nand upon exit worked fine

I rarely use Devo and don't launch it with WiiFlow, from what I understand D2Xv8 has better performance with NAND emulation and game save emu.

@luck_ghost can you confirm if NAND emu starts acting up with the latest D2X. If all goes well I'll update too lol.

Ok, game launching. I'm pretty sure that's of major significance. I haven't tested devo in a while, because when I set it up, it worked. But a few posts back, I seem to recall somebody having problems. So I decided to test it out. I did a clean install of rc3, and started launching some of my devo games. I'd try one, and to my displeasure, it failed to boot. It just returned to wiiflow. So I tried the same game a few times with the same result, moved onto a different game, with the same result, tried a different game with the same result, then went back to the first one I tried, and it finally launched. So I go back to wiiflow, try the game that I just ran, and it failed to launch. The process repeats itself for all games I've tried. So I went back to 676, and the same happens with it. Somewhere between now and when wiiflow first got devo support, something went wrong. I guess I'll have to go back and download every tenth rev between now and then and try to narrow it down.

If anyone is interested, DM works fine in emunand mode, all you need to do is:
1.copy diosmios.bin(this is DM neek 00000008.app file renamed) to usb:\sneek folder (using uneek2o rev90+, tested with rev92b6 )
2.open wiiflow.ini and change that line as follows:
[DML]
always_show_button=yes
3.play the game
:)

and RC4 is ready, yet another bugfix release :P
-fixed wiimote doesnt properly resync on entering emu nand
-fixed installing gamecube disc 2 with wiiflow installer
-fixed exit to neek2o for people who got their nand in a folder
-some general cleanup and speedup
http://www.mediafire...uo5zqfvicz07axt

That doesnt surprise me, I havent touched that copy feature quite long now, its most likely broken because of all the DIOS-MIOS and Devolution updates :P

Alright, RC5:
-fixed nand extractor
-fixed copy gamecube games from usb to sd, to use that feature you need to have DIOS-MIOS Lite installed and either dont have Devolution installed or set the game loader explicit to DIOS-MIOS
-fixed banner was not automatically hiding in gametdb, delete game question, copy game from usb to sd question, trailer and favourites settings
-cleaned up some stuff again
http://www.mediafire...sybjud6vulzj4lm
Not much left eh? :P

Well I thought that I read that v8 had better performance with NAND as well but I never had and probs with v8 or v9. I was using v9 for a long time and only switched back to 8 due to some sound issues in custom channel audio. v8 cured that at the time. I keep folders of both v8 and v9 wads on my SD for a quick switch with MMM if needed.
