Ok...

why?
Typo,cant you see it?
Btw,i didnt expect Nintendo to do this.Weird, seems like a first for them.
So much for cram school...

This game is quite fun actually. Made it to the mushroom world on my 1st try.
The 3D in this game is plain BS though. They could have made the platforms at least pop out or something.
Wait, what exactly is wrong? :|
The last sentence.

"will be also be"

Pop out platforms? How could you expect that to work and make any kind of sense in a 2D environment? The only complaint I have about Sonic Generations' otherwise awesome 3D usage, is that sometimes you just don't know what you can jump onto because some of the platforms are slightly further into the background/foreground than your current playing field.

Why not? Just make Mario and those things sorta "pop out" of the screen while making the background a lot far away.

Pop out 3D is retarded anyway. Making platforms pop out, or even push in, to a level you're not playing on would make no sense. It would be gimmicky and annoying. For it to even make sense Mario's jump animations would have to be jumping not only left/right, but also into or out of the playfeild, all depending on which direction in your pseudo z axis you are heading. Sounds like an awful lot of work for a gimmick that would look shit and quite possibly be distracting.

Fine, I agree. But they could have AT LEAST made the background sink in a lot more to produce greater depth and let us adjust to our choice using the depth slider.

The current depth is barely even noticeable in max 3D.

I honestly don't feel too strongly about the 3D depth effect in this game, it's not a 2.5D game so much as 3D models are used as 2D sprites.
The environments are all pre-rendered.

Anyhow Coin Rush is going very well for me. My record is up to 13926 coins now, and I've accumulated 150,000+ coins so far.

My main wish was that they had made the 3D work in the way the "background" did in SMB3, but instead of going behind levels, you popped out into some foreground and were able to travel to an end level that was after the castle.

The main difference the 3D slider makes on this game is blurring the background. Probably the only game where I just leave it off.

They call that a parallax effect.
Come to think of it I never really noticed such an effect in the game, not very often.

The Bowser fight was a bit of a let-down.
You basically just do the tired old hit the switch nonsense from the past games and then do some safe vertical platform hopping.

By the time you 100% the game, you may notice that a certain character seems to be absent.

Really? 0.o Who? Could you put in a spoiler who? :)

Sure.
Bowser Jr. doesn't seem to be in the game at all. No twist in the secret world, no picking up the slack of the Koopalings, no assisting Bowser, nothing. Very odd for a New Super Mario Bros. title.

Hmmm your right!

But NSMBWii didn't have Bowser Junior as well or am I wrong?

My current Coin Rush record is 26310. :D
I got I run with World Mushroom-1 followed by World 1-5, then World 2-Fortress.

World Mushroom-1 has a Gold Fireflower and a trick for amassing tons of coins, so I get two gold fireflowers in this run.
World 1-5 is also an excellent area to use a Gold Fireflower.
