Oh, well according to this the only reason it's on the 3DS is because the 3DS has a browser.
It's only going to be a "thing" for Wii U.

No it will not, because you'll be able to interact with those in Miiverse.
They said that Miiverse, is browser enabled.
It's gonna be availabe for 3DS, Wii U, mobile dovices and future Nintendo consoles as they even said it themselves.
Not only that, that may be an excellent thing because you won't even have to turn off the game to access it.

Perhaps for you, but it will be for lots, including me. So it will NOT be an only 'thing' for Wii U, whether you like it or not.
While it's intergrated to the Wii U's system menu, it will be accessible to other ninty consoles that come after it too.
I'm still wondering how it will all turn out though. Whether they're gonna use an app or a website.

Supposedly ninty is gonna review everything that's submitted for posting before it actually appears on your miiverse "status" or whatever you wanna call it. I suspect this will make make the time between you posting something and it actually appearing a bit annoying. Not too excited about this, but interested to see what comes of it.
