Star Wars 1313 And Lord Of Shadow 2 Announcements Leaked

GTTV have accidentally revealed, as you can see above, 2 titles to be announced at E3- Star Wars 1313 and Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2. Star Wars 1313 has been trademarked by LucasFilm for quite a while now and currently www.starwars1313.com links directly to the Star Wars website. As for Castlevania, it has been rumoured for a fair while now so it's not a huge surprise. Konami's pre-recorded E3 conference will be posted on Friday where we can expect it to be officially announced.

Here's some info on Star Wars 1313:

Apparently it's a "mature Star Wars game" where you play as a bounty hunter around Coruscant. It's both a platformer and third person shooter (or so they say). LucasArts is also bringing some of their notable studios here. Industrial Light and Magic, Skywalker Sound, and Lucasfilm Animation are involved.

EDIT: I'm at least glad though that it's not a terrible looking Star Wars game, seems original and with time put in. I'm expecting it to play like Assassin's Creed-meets-Gears of War which doesn't sound too bad since "Gears of War" is basically just a synonym for "third person shooter" nowadays.

The LOS trailer was all CGI as far as I can tell but if they do want to put me in charge of a superpowered "demon" and go dynasty warriors I am OK with that and might even go back to the first LOS which I never played for some reason.

I actually quite enjoyed the bounty hunter game I had on the gamecube and probably count it as one of the few star wars game I really enjoyed since dark forces/jedi knight (plenty of stuff I didn't dislike but in retrospect enjoy might be a strong word).

I liked Bounty Hunter as well but this feels a lot darker, appealing more to the KOTOR/TOR audience. For some reason though the whole thing just smells like Blade Runner for some reason. Still, I'm glad that a Star Wars game is finally getting some proper love, the series has seriously gone down hill this generation. I still don't really like Force Unleashed as a series and I heard great things about TOR but that's only one Star Wars games out of all the Clone Wars and Star Wars Kinects of the video game world this gen.

If they wind it in better I guess but I read a lot of the flavour text (I have a problem with doing this for just about everything I get the chance to do it for- it is probably why RPGs suck down 80 hours a piece if I am moving at pace) for the bounty hunter game and there were several things very much in the shades of grey arena*. Although Bounty hunter made nothing or very little of it as far as I can tell for my money this pegged it at or above KOTOR in the darkness stakes (KOTOR had some interesting things and some interesting conversation paths/logic but I would still call it pretty binary and with the possible exception of Jade Empire I would say the same about all the post KOTOR stuff I have played).

*more than a few were escaped slaves, sentient droids plotting an uprising/going for equality, higher rewards for a dead capture than an alive one and other such things.

Level 1313 doesn't really feel all that much like Star Wars. Seeing how some of the recent Star Wars games have turned out, though, that isn't necessarily a bad thing.

I liked Star Wars Bounty Hunter for the GC. Hard as fucking hell tho
