[Rumor] Ghost Recon, Assassin's Creed 3 Coming to Vita

A new Ghost Recon game and the upcoming Assassin's Creed 3 are coming to the Playstation Vita, if the listing from online UK retailers Zavvi and GAME are to believe.

The Ghost Recon game, titled "Ghost Recon: Final Mission", was listed on the retailer sites. However, there has been no announcement for a Ghost Recon game for the Vita, so this comes as a surprise.

Around the time of the Vita reveal, Ubisoft announced they were making an Assassin's Creed game for the system, but if this listing is correct, it'll be Assassin's Creed 3. Whether it is a direct adaptation of the upcoming game or something similar is still unknown.

However, these could simply be listing errors. Both games were listed around the same time though and are both by Ubisoft, giving a bit more credit to this rumor.

No official statement has been issued by Ubisoft yet.

I'm quite interested in Assassin's Creed 3 Vita if it turns out to be a direct adaptation, the console game itself looks excellent but it'd be interesting to see how well a Vita version does. If it looks almost the same but maybe runs at 30FPS instead of 60FPS then I'd be rather impressed. Plus $40 for Assassin's Creed 3 beats $60 for it.

If this turns out to he true, that'll be great. After playing GR Future Soldier and quite liking it, I wouldn't mind a Vita Ghost Recon. And the Assassin's Creed is even better! I really hope this turns out to be true.

I find these games more enjoyable on a bigger screen with better surround.

But still, having them portable is nice. I'm quite excited for AC Vita if there is one, but I hope it isn't a direct port.

Personally on one hand I would like something sorta different but that hasn't always turned out to be the best. Assassin's Creed Bloodlines was a completely original game but it wasn't nearly as good as Assassin's Creed II and onward. I liked Assassin's Creed II: Discovery for the DS but it still wasn't as good as Assassin's Creed II and onwards.

Ideally I'd like a rather authentic port of Assassin's Creed III but with some additional content for the Vita. Although I don't see myself buying the same game twice. It'd be kinda cool to have Assassin's Creed 3 in the palm of my hands but I'd like having it on my Xbox too.

Better in the bigger, normal versions, but this might be somewhat decent. It's definitely going to happen though, that's not a question, just how it will look and feel like.
I'm hoping for an original, stand-alone project, not just a port of the PS3 version with clunky controls and all that shit.

Assassins's Creed 3 on the console is most certainly running at 30FPS. So the Vita version would have to be downgraded a lot (unless you want a repeat of the PSP versions).

Well it would be nice if they give you the portable and console version of Assassin's Creed 3 when you buy it. Sort of like Portal 2 giving you a PC and Ps3 copy but knowing them they won't. So what if it would be a port Mortal Kombat Vita may have decrease graphics but the gameplay was the same and maybe you can play on your PS3 then go on the go like MBL the show 2012.
