Hacking Jailbreakin' my ps3

Hey guys

I wanna jaibreak my ps3, but im kind of a noob to this. i bought my ps3 around christmas time, so would it be compatible? I also kept updating it, is this a problem? Also what is the best method for jailbreaking it. (its a Slim model) Thanks guys!

If he's updated it past 3.55 there's no softmod possible (and he said he's been updating it since Christmas so that's out). He will have to open it up and use a downgrading kit to downgrade it to 3.55.

I have no idea how to hardmod a ps3 so he'll have to wait for more replies. (or get to googlin')

also if you bought it with a firmware already over 3.55 you can't downgrade it

if the pre-installed fw is OVER 3.55, it can NOT run 3.55

that if the system is BRAND NEW
