GTA V To Release In October?

Rockstar animator Alex O’Dwyer has posted on his LinkedIn account stating an October release for the game. Rockstar and Take Two are yet to confirm the platforms and the release date. More is expected to be known during the E3.

I really hope there isn't a securom launcher again, apparently pirates and payers alike had to deal with all sorts of errors, me being a pirate considering I paid for it on the PS3...

I'll probably get the Complete Edition for this just like I did for GTA IV. Not really my genre in terms of story, but the gameplay is fun at times

ya IV was quite slow on the pc even though better graphical games have come to it with lesser requirements.
i heard before that it was 2013 but it seems they will be competiting with the bigger guns.

I'm a great fan of the series but they need to do more with this game as opposed to the previous games in the series.

I've been playing Saints Row the Third and i have found that a lot more enjoyable to play than the GTA's, so i'm hoping for something special in this game.

I hope they make it quite fun.

I didn't play GTA IV but Rockstar has been making a lot of "open world narratives" recently and nothing in the lines of Saint's Row, which is just pure fun. I enjoyed RDR a lot but what's the point of an open world if you can't fuck around a lot?

It's worth remembering that GTA IV was also supposed to launch in October before it was delayed for 6 months. Considering how near and dear this franchise is to Rockstar, don't be surprised (assuming the date is true) if they do that again to spend more time polishing the game.
