The only thing I got from your post is that dual screen of the 3DS offers a different style of gameplay but it doesn't counter the 3D isn't anything more than a gimmick that isn't much of an advantage over the Vita, the dual screen gives the 3DS and DS an advantage over the PSP and Vita.
Read my post again, and you'll see that I did detail the advantages/disadvantages of both. Just because something is a gimmick doesn't mean it has no actual functionality. ;)
Certain gimmicks can add something to gameplay like tocuhscreen and dual screens but I don't see how 3D can help if you already can judge depth without the need of it. Look at all the platformers and so forth before the 3DS, you still need to judge distance and depth and gamers have done it fine for years.

I see what you're saying. Idk, I still think it helps a bit. Not TOO much (and it's still just a visual gimmick/enhancement, above all else), but for me it does.

And thats alright. I mean if you find it helps you then thats a good thing for you but i'm sure there are alot of people who don't find the 3D as thing more thank a gimmick and useless.

I'd say the PSV wins it out over the 3DS for me. The Vita's screen is magnificent. It just looks brilliant and that for me really adds to the gaming experience. Whilst with the 3DS has a 3D screen. And 3D hurts my eyes.

them you need help those are are really crappy
The Vita screen was hailed as the best screen on a handheld device yet by numerous critics and I can't say I disagree with that. I'm not sure if "crappy" is a good way to describe that kind of an achievement.

sony sure pay those critics good

I finished resident evil revelations and I must say, the 3DS can really do GREAT depth (in Options Menu on Strong) and GREAT Graphics. No need for a Vita, if the third party support goes on to be that great. I suppose we will get an XL Version anyway and Im sure they will add the second stick, maybe the will call it 3DS+ or something, we will see.

Question: Have you ever in your entire life held a Vita in your two hands and actually used it?

Hehe... I haven't (I know you're not talking to me, but still). Wish I could, but the gamestop at college doesn't have a demo unit on display. >.< Now that I'm home for Spring Break, hopefully I'll find one to get a little taste. :D

Wouldn't the addition of a second analog nub in a redesign just antagonize early adopters even further?
I don't think so. Early adopters can get a Circlepad Pro if they want to. WiiMotion+ was added to later WiiMotes despite the fact it's just an add-on and works with few games. Mega CD was later added into the CDX despite the fact that it was just an add-on. The list goes on, there is no reason *not* to add it.

Not to mention that a revision with built-in dual analog would mean one less disadvantage the 3DS has against the PSV.

those adopters should grow up and not be such cry babies, they did not cry that the DSI had a faster Processor, a cam and a bigger screen either.

The DSi is actually a whole-new console, it was just backwards-compatible and had like, how many games? 5? That and DSiWare. I'm still not sure why it was marketed as a DS when it was really an entirely separate machine. But yeah, you are absolutely right - revisions are a natural thing in gaming and some include add-ons. The PSP Fat had no microphone built-in, the PSP-3000 has one. The PSP Fat had 32 MB of RAM, the PSP-2000 and onwards had 64. Same console, different feature - let's hear a round of applause for progress.

Of course he has. Valwin by his own admission bought a Vita, and Ninja Gaiden -

i am just answering op question with my personal experience

So you own a Vita now? What games did you buy with it?

Ninja Gaiden Sigma PLUS

Of course he refuses to actually post a picture, but i think by the amount of posts he makes about the Vita his interest can't be doubted.

Honestly, I wouldn't blame them for being upset: The lack of dual analogs and better battery were an absolute mistake and should've been included in the original in the first place. That said, I don't think upsetting them is a reason to deny the many other customers and potential customers who would want it.

I was mistaken, I shall now go on an exile for the next 15 seconds to punish myself for daring to even entertain the thought of Valwin being slightly bias in my heart. I am a horrible, horrible person.

Back to the topic though, yeah, Foxi wants dual analog on 3DS 2.0, a whole lot actually. That, and I definatelly wouldn't mind an extended sweetspot for the 3D, although I did not have alot of practice with the 3DS's 3D just yet. I rarely snatch my gal's 3DS, seeing that we live so far from eachother and I'm not feeling all that compelled to buy one just yet.

$20 says you go and immediately buy one if your girlfriend breaks up with you :ha:
