Moooooooooooooooooooooo

And the sheep will go 'baaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh' and flock like a bunch of lemmings. Someone needs to put an exit to an EB Games next to a cliff so they can all run off it.

I was expecting more ignorance when entering this thread... You guys are slacking :P

On topic, The only things I want back are Zombies and Wager Matches. The campaign seemed like any other and the majority of the multiplayer... I don't even know how that passed.

i wouldn't be surprised. They're getting so uncreative, they're not even creating newish games now. Just slapping numbers on the ends of their old games and reselling them for full price.

That +1 on truth points.

As you know from playing through the games. Oh, wait.

I never played COD and will not start playing it either.

So you are judging something you a) Haven't played and b) Have no intention of ever trying. I think that kind of invalidates it.

He is right even though he hasn't played COD. COD in general is repetitive, but I do admit the multiplayer is fun

I never bother with Campaign Mode, I just go for Multiplayer straight away.

Seen enough on the internet + saw enough gameplay to judge it.
I only played COD for the KFC bucket achievement and it stopped there.

If people like the game thats fine to me.
I don't like it and that's my opinion.

So you don't need to play games anymore to judge them? Huh, I must have missed that development.

There's nothing wrong with disliking a game, but you should play it first instead of dismissing it because, hey, that's the cool thing to do now.

I got 10+ gameplay achievement on COD MW2.
My intention was to get the KFC bucket achievement.

In the time it took me to get it I really did not liked the game at all.
One thing I really do respect it for is how immensely popular it is and how many old Xenon and Zephyr boards it killed after the release of MW2.

So one game (that many fans are dismissive of) = the quality of every other game in that franchise?

And you played the game just to get an achievement (Colonel Sanderson according to True Achievements) for "Killing 7 chickens in under 10 seconds"? If that's the case, I think you were doing it wrong.

I did not like the game.
That doesn't mean that it's a bad game for everyone.

Nope I wasn't doing it wrong.
I did play that just to get that achievement.
Yay for flashed box + borrowed backup of MW2 from a friend.

While I generally agree, with CoD, it really isn't that wrong to just immediately call a CoD game shit and repetitive.
I make a habit of trying every installment. It's kinda like having a habit of stabbing yourself repeatedly in the heart every 6 months. I should probably see a self-injury therapist one of these days...
Anyways, point is, they're all the same. They get some graphical tweaks, and a few things are shuffled around, then they make you pay full price for it.

Being all the same really wouldn't be THAT tragic...if they were any good to begin with.

Well although i agree on the repetitive part and all.

How different you want the games to be?
Cod is basically pointless shooting to begin with in the first place.

While the whole "They're all the exact same game" complaint is one I'd argue doesn't have much merit, at least you're playing the games before passing judgement.

The issue isn't that you liking the game means no one else can like it. The issue is that you are criticizing an entire series that you admit you haven't played apart from one single game (which you were also only playing to shoot chickens in a single level).

Just saying that, "It isn't a bad game for everyone," doesn't make the problems with your argument disappear.

I shouldn't say...different. But, improving them would definitely be a start.
The biggest flaw in CoD is how fucking terrible the gun physics are. But this isn't a design flaw, it's intentional, as to make the shooting part of this FPS mind numbingly simple.
But hell, there's a lot wrong they could improve on and actually make CoD good.
An example is Halo. Fundamentally, it's the same game every time. But they ALWAYS change things up, improve things, alter things, and it feels like a new game, while maintaining the general feel of the series. CoD CAN do that, if they tried. But it takes effort, something CoD hasn't had put into it for quite a while.

What could they possibly be "developing"?
All they need to do is change how killstreaks work again or something really minor, and bam, a new game.

If nearly everyone says that COD is just the exact same game every single installment besides some graphical tweaks and a new setting doesn't make me want to play it again and again and again.

I also never said that it's a bad game for everyone.
