I'm trying to find the latest version of NDSDroid. Would it be possible for someone to tell me the latest version number OR (as long as it doesn't break forum rules) link me to the APK? Also, for those of you with experience with this emulator, what games are running well?

It's not worth your time.
This.

I tried playing Trace Memory on a Nook Color.
It was playable. But it's a point and click game.

I have a version of "NDS4Droid" and I remember that you can "activate" the bottom screen by pushing the "i" icon. I'll recheck my version and if Trace Memory works well I'll definitely beat Trace Memory again. I

Yeah, it can use the touch screen. I was just saying that it's playable because it's a point and click game. Action/Racing games would probably be terrible, lol

Got 1.3. No audio confirmed. I really hope this project gets continued. Now if only I can find proper Genesis and GBA emulator for my tablet. Everything I run across keeps kicking me back to the rom select menu :(

i had the same issue lightykd, i never really found out why but it was solved by getting a later/different version of the emulator in question. it was weird because it did boot roms at some point, for some reason it just stopped loading them.

Did you try Gameboid? It's free on slideme.org
here

All you need is the gameboy advance BIOS file, which cannot be linked to, legally.
Easy to find, though.

Yongzh is also the developer of Gensoid, a genesis emulator. Both work great on my low-end Optimus V, so it should work on your tab.

Gameboid has weird transparency issues with some games.
More specifically, FFVI Advance and Zelda ALttP.

I found the latest Gensoid (v2.4.3) so I'm all set when it comes to emulation. Next up is figuring out a controller solution for using OnLive with my tablet. :yaywii:

Have you tried Gensoid?
Gensoid works well, at least for the few games I've used it on. Only have the Lite version though, I don't play SEGA games enough to buy the full version.
yongzh's emulators are generally the best on Android, though Snes9x EX might be better than Snesoid, haven't tried it.

As far as I know it only works with the official OnLive controller or touchscreen controls. However there might be some way to get hardware buttons to work that I haven't discovered. If so a Wiimote is probably your best bet.

But why would you not get the full version when the developper offers it as a free download on SlideME?

You could also try out GENPlusDroid, i believe its compatibility is somewhat better. Likely requires a faster device than Gensoid, but it runs fine on my Samsung Fascinate. It's free on the official Android Market. The developer's SNES emulator SNESDroid is also really good and very compatible. It needs a fairly fast phone for special chip games however. But the sound is the best i've encountered for a SNES emulator on Android. I believe it's based on the latest SNES9x version. It even emulates Earthworm Jim 2's sound apparently perfectly (which no other Android SNES emulator was able to do).
