It is a good start but it looks too much like an FPS and the graphics appear kinda stale to me compared to the PS3 demo that Square did.

I just would hope that if this does get a cease and desist, that it gets Square off their ass to make the game for real on a modern console. I have the PC and PSX versions of this game but the graphics just aren't the "same" as they were a long time ago.

Although that just means that the graphics were great during their era, but by today's standards they're kinda blocky for a 3D game.

+1. They cut the entire Aeris scene from the beginning and that battle was horrible. Plus, when did Cloud get grenades and get a crappy reaction time?

Well, when you think about it, that is a valid point, but if you're going to make a remake, make it close to the originals. I spotted a million errors. I did like the cutscene where it showed different parts of Midgar, but I didn't like how Tifa randomly appeared out of nowhere (She isn't available until after you finish the first job at the Mako Reactor.) and battles with a slow Cloud. And the random bomb? That was overkill.

My thoughts exactly, I hate first person and for FFVII... what a disgrace.

NO.

1. no train animation.
2. cloud does not sit on top of the train, hes inside of it.
3. the guards are already dead by the time cloud can move.
4. CLOUDS FUCKING HAIR DOES NOT BRIGHTEN WHEN USING MAGIC.
5. this is not Zelda 2, you are not meant to see enemies before they attack.

I agree completely! I loved the Midgar scene. Battles where so-so (not the best, but not terrible)...
Tifa is definitely not supposed to be around until later (but it's a demo, probably why Zack is there also)

Good attempt (so far):

• Models & Design = 4.5 (Almost perfect, good work)
• Battle System = 3.5 (seems like a work in progress, but please keep all characters in the same scene for battles)
• 1st Person View = 0.0 (FAIL & Not cool at all, kinda erks me a little).
  • Would be OK if we could choose when to go into first person mode.

• Over all score = 2.7 (would've been much higher if not always in first person while walking around).
