Xenosaga is one of my favourite RPGs of all time but I can understand why people don't like it, it drags on some points and got really ass after the first game. For me it's Xenosaga I > III >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> II

that's all ToA is good for sadly

coming off of legendia it was really disappointing in pretty much every aspect but gameplay.

I hated bn 4 as well. The tournament system was somewhat boring. bn 5's liberation missions weren't so fun either. bn 3 was the best imo. The style change system on the 2/3 was just the best (Custom Style FTW). I used to collect a bunch of chips that you can only have a few of through one gameplay (like area grab *, invisible * and barrier100 *) and traded all of them into one cartridge. But then, the save data corrupts (a pretty common thing in older gba games) and I'm like "ffffffffffuuuuu!!!!!!!!!!!1111" ;_;

But even worse than bn 4 was the StarForce series. It just changed so much. I wanted capcom to continue bn into 7 and 8 and 9 and....

I didn't mind 5 and found it rather fun minus the few dick moves it pulled such as "oh you got two new soul unions. YOU CAN'T USE THEM THOUGH MEGAMAN IS KIDNAPPED" 6 was very fun
I really miss custom style though and I even recall MMBN3 aimming for the make your own megaman thing. 4 ruined that.

Star force 1 I don't mind but the entire little thing didn't need to exist. Sure people asked for a successor to battle network, but no one asked for it to be so damn limited in combat with a "darker" story. Even when fans complained all capcom did was add in a bloody fuckin camera akin to battle network. >=(

On an aside 4 was good for its music, addition of full syncro (which was in 3 to some extent), and the cross over with boktai. A lovely little series that never caught on in the west.

All shitty iOS games like that flash looking crap must be burnt to a crisp. Now there are some good looking games but they are overshadowed by a bunch of shit.
