its the same for maxthon cpu max 35 % by my old pc/laptop by overload (much websites/ very very very slow websites it goes toe 50% but not larger)
it has adblock build in proxy, private screen (hides your activity), and even more (and it istnt done yer with even more)

I use SW Iron. It's almost exactly like Chrome, main difference being that it doesn't send any information to Google.

Opera 11.51

Sure, its extension/addon library and compatibility to many websites are terrible, but it's been the fastest and most feature-rich (without addons) to me. I also like the simple interface, whereas I really don't like Chrome's for some reason (probably the tabs). I've been a FF user since I started Internet (okay, I might have used ie to dl firefox before that), but I don't use many extensions on FF anyways (I only have 4 addons enabled on FF right now).

btw for people who are wondering, here's some browser speed tests from lifehacker (probably the latest one, posted on Sep 27, 2011): http://lifehacker.com/5844150/browser-speed-tests-firefox-7-chrome-14-internet-explorer-9-and-more

Personally, I prefer Opera. But I turned it into my hentai/porn browser, so I can't really use it as a normal one now.

Firefox was slow and crashing like fucking crazy, so I switched to Chrome. Chrome is alright but it's a lot inferior, in functionality, to Firefox. Though, it runs a hell of a lot better. Got some plugins or whatever that gave it some more functionality, but it's still not as good as firefox.

ps for the ones that use theirbrosers as hetnai/porn or somewath
maxthon has private window so it wont get in the memory (only 1 private window for now)
so very usefull
use it at school
(just chance the install map to a map on your desktop then search for a map called bin in this map is an maxthon.exe make an shortcut on your desktop from that one, hide the map, start up the shortcut and you got the browserr without installing (usefull when you cant instal anyting), ps with this it could loose somewat of its speed, its very small so you dont notice it, exept if you look for that)
and i almost have forgotten the user agent chancing that maxthon has
is this uefull

I use a customized copy of the latest Firefox beta as my main browser, and have Chrome installed as a backup/secondary/testing browser.

I use Chromium

You should add Chromium to the poll. (and also, please fix the spelling of 'Chrome' and the capitalization...)

Also, IE8 and IE9 should be separate because they are *completely* different.

google chrome has incognito. and firefox have private browsing. don't know about opera. also, when you said memory, did you mean history?

Never heard of Maxthon. Chrome is simple and fast but doesn't have as many extensions as FF. FF is my preference and I use it most, using Chrome as a fallback option.

Like hell it don't. I'd say their both on par with each other for having the same amount of add ons!

I used to use firefox, but I switched to chrome a couple years ago and haven't looked back. AdBlock works great for me on it, and it has all the extensions that I need, and I love the clean simple look it has.

cromium??????????????????????
http://www.chromium.org/

It is the open-source project behind Google chrome.
