well, thoughts about DS games that you've finished or played long enough.. not all the games you've finished, but you know, just the worth it and what games you think that is Overrated,Underrated and such...just not those silly games...you call..
and give a little introduction of what kind of gamer are you.
Spoiler should be in spoilers.
I'm gonna start..(I'm not in a country where english is the primary language, im not that great in english, so expect simple and wrong grammars and words and the words "Pretty" and "Though")
well, I'm really not that addict to video games, but i want play, not hardcore, but not casual gamer, a little in between. I'm into Story-driven, "action RPGs is more fun than console RPGs, but console RPGs are awesomeeess," Ok with platformers and i love sports video games..I'm really not an avid fan of turnbase but it's ok
so this are the DS games i've finished..
Final Fantasy 4 DS - ok, one of the best game i'd ever played. The story, the graphics, the musics, just incredible, out of the 3 main FFs ive played, this come second to FFX, FF7 is third. I do think this game deserve a better recognition from gamers.
Radiant Historia - just complete the game a while ago, i mean 236/236 nodes/events...all the strong weapons and skills, have it, took me 50 hours, the ending is great, as such the true ending... the story is superb, the gameplay is addictive even though it's turn based. the tracks are haunting me. such a great game, never thought it would be that great. what this game lacks are humors, never get me to laugh except for the *SPOILER* , ..and i think that the dialogues are just "OK", no memorable quotes i guess.
Hotel Dusk Room 215 - the game has an awesome, intriguing story, though in some point in the game gives you frustration, the tracks were surprisingly good, Love the "Violet sky".. the ending is great, though it leaves some unanswered question, which is good, you know.
Pokemon Black - ahah..the game is pretty the same from the last game, but with better graphics, difficulty (never been a fan of pokemon, so it's kinda hard i think), and way better story (only played Sapphire and this
), so probably it's not the same, but no, it's still pretty the same, the gameplay hardly changed, but as i said, the difficulty is a plus..(remembered i finished sapphire almost only bashing "A" with blaziken, joking, but jokes are half true :lmao: )
Note: Not a fan of Pokemon, because mainly; 1. dont have access to WPE wifi (freaking WAP everywhere) 2. dont have other opponents other than AI bec there are only small amount of DS players here (Phillipines, where they most thought DS is for 10 years old and PSP is for cool grownups) especially in my hometown. 3. Ugly new Pokemons IMO
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Ring of Fates - i love this game, Action RPG with great story, the story is sad, brother and sister, nice equipments, but pretty messy inventory system i think. the ending was well done. But the game was sometime annoying because of the camera angles and puzzles that are frustrating rather than clever. And the Villains are good, but pretty much a short game.
999 -Think, Point and Click, and Point and click, Think and talk, then talk, then talk, then solved...uh huh. dont seem to be that interesting, but no no no no...THis game rocks ..Plot, the gameplay, the twist, the endings, the characters, though sometime pretty when youre going to complete the endings, but it's worth it, what i don't like in this game is there's no voice acting, even a little, and that sucks. Took me a lot of my time, played it night and boom, sleepless nights, freaking "AXE ENDING"
The World Ends with you - MAFAVORITEGAMe, such a gem, the battle, the replayability, . The battle in the upper and lower screen at the same type, sounds mad? ah ah..though it's pretty hard to use to it, but once you do, you'll appreciate the gameplay, the battle, the excitement, and no Random battles, thats good, that's always been good, just love the game, the story looks like a bonus, a big bonus, superb plot, dialogues, memorable character. Collecting Pins, clothes, Reports, took me about 80 hours, 100% in all except for pin collection which is around 70%,t addictive for a DS game not named Pokemon ( Im not a Pokemon fan). Second fave game to FFX.
Chrono Trigger - Classic, great game, but honestly, kinda overrated IMO, the story is good, but not that great, though the creativity from a 1990's game is awesome. It's became a foundation of RPGs along side with FF6 (never played that). The battle is good, the difficulty is there, just right, don't need to grind that much and no Random battles. The tracks are heavenly made i must said...and Funny dialogues by Aya..completed all the quest, but that the endings.
Dragon Quest 9 - My story
i Started playing this one year ago, around August, i was addicted to it, love the leveling/job system, the story is good, and in the almost end of the game, im at 42 hours, too much leveling of jobs i guess. then i take a break, and then the last thing i know, it was a one full year since i took a break.LOL, gonna finish it sometimes though..
Fifa 11 - sport game, great game for a handheld sport game, though after 10 matches highest difficulty, you'll realized it;s pretty an easy game if you master some techniques, like dribbling, but still the goals are good, and the minigames are addictive..
that's mine i guess, thank you for reading, if you dont mind, write your own..thanks...
remember, it's in my OWN opinion

though the love story of Stocke and Raynie sucks, Raynie was taken for granted.:lmao:
