This is third party unlicensed.. I do not support that. I rather Nintendo licensed official GameCube controller only.

The new Wii doesn't support Gamecube games.

So this is pointless. Classic Controller >>>> This.

SMH Some of us DO NOT like the PS2 setup of the Classic Controller
Well, tough it out.

Who in the blue hell are you to tell anyone to "tough it out"? We are humans. humans value choice and free will. Not everybody likes their analog sticks to be parallel. Tell all of the 360 gamers to tough it out. I bet they would agree with me. As for the guy above me talking about how he hates unlicensed products, don't be a Nintendo drone. I love Nintendo more than most people BUT they do NOT do everything right. There are many accessories that are better than Nintendo's original versions. Hell there are many wireless GameCube controllers with rumble made by third parties yet, Nintendo has none. I even remember one that had a charging cable that plugged into the GameCube controller port. I miss that thing...

i'd rather cut off my thumbs than playing on an imitation controller ever again. the sticks on those things are always too lose or too rigid. buttons break after 2 months.
drop it once and its garbage.

its sad that theres no way to get original gc controllers to turn wireless, but i'd rather use a cable controller than... whatever this is

that is untill you find out about the thrustmaster, it's a wireless pad it's small and it's served me since i've used it, i prefer the nintendo wavebird but my offcial nintendo wavebird just stopped working so i brought the thrustmaster instead, it's ok but it has the same layout as a xbox 360 controller and i don't play those much so it can get confusing sometimes, but apart from that it works and it's much more quality built that what the OP was posting.

This isn't about quality but functionality. This is about using the GameCube button setup without the need of GameCube ports. Remember, the new Wii revision and the WiiU will not have GameCube ports. This post is for those of us who like the GameCube button setup more than the standard PS/360 one.

i'll just use a classic controller pro with the wii U.

for the wii i also have gamecube pads, including a wavebird :D

I'm also interested in this. Anyone found an adapter yet?
Well, I did chance upon this site called Infinite NES Lives, which is basically a service that converts old controllers to be connectable through USB, Gamecube or Wii. Judging from what I've read, the modder also tends to include some pretty advanced features too, such as dynamically changing the controller mapping by pressing certain macros. The downside is that most projects cost between 30-80 USD, and those are the standard conversions. If you want a GC to Wii conversion, I have no idea what it would cost, but if this is something that really matters to you, you could always contact him and give it a shot. Oh, and if anyone decides to do it, post videos (or at least pics)! You will gain massive BP (Bro Points).
