Dekopon - (Mostly) Fullspeed 3DS Emulation on Nintendo Switch

Does anybody remember the setting to change to fix the issue with the top screen flickering with the lower screen visuals? Particularly bad in A Link Between Worlds. I had this same issue with Azahar on Switchroot Linux and do not remember how I ended up fixing it...

uncheck "disabled right eye render"

Has someon tried Donkey kong country returns..?
Which are better settings?
Cause mine, doesnt run at full speed...
The performance preset is the recommended settings. You can try some of the hacks for more performance, but they very well may break things.

Did anyone get USUM to boot? Whenever I try to run it, it just flashes a dual screen and nothing else happens.

Edit: Just made the account to comment in this, amazing work on the emulator!

A new release has been made that hopefully fixes the long pauses that occurs after playing games for longer periods of time: https://github.com/PalindromicBreadLoaf/dekopon/releases/tag/v2.2.2

@FashionNugget specifically this should fix the issue you were having previously. Hopefully. I can't guarantee anything 100%.

USUM should be working just fine. It may take a little bit to start up, but not a crazy long time. Does it exit back to the menu after the flash or does it just sit there?

It just sits there, I'll update and try to open it again to see if I was just impatient, though I waited for ~5 minutes and nothing happened.

Edit: Yup, let it for ~20 minutes and nothing, should I send the log?

Unfortunately I just tested the new version and the bug is still there, not sure what it could be but all the pokemon games do freeze, should I send u the report?

I have been playing Pokemon Omega Ruby since the first version. Whenever it halts, I wait 2-4 mins (sometimes a bit more time) and it just starts working again.

It's okay, never have had an actual full freeze without the game starting running again after some minutes.

Yeah, there's something that causes that halt and I'm trying to figure what causes it. Do you happen to have any logs of it happening? They're very helpful for figuring out what the issue is.

Please do. I can't say I've heard of anyone else having such an issue, so I'm intrigued.

I had a similar problem, and it was due to a bad undervolt in HOC.

Sorry, I didn't get the hoc part. Is it overclocking with horizon/sys-clk? If yes, mine is set to 1683/844/1600. Could it be the same cause?
If with Horizon OC
I'm not referring to the frequencies, but rather the voltages. If you didn't modify the voltages, it's very likely not the same error.

Yeah, that's what they are referring to. Unless you messed with voltages there shouldn't be an issue, although it wouldn't hurt to try at stock. Does this same ROM run on desktop Azahar?

Yeah, runs nice at my pc. Never messed with voltages so I think it's hard for that to be the issue, but anyway I'll check Horizon to see if anything shows up. Will also try to run without any overclocking.

Do you have any other games to try booting? Also, could you try changing your log filter to so
*:Info Kernel:Debug Service.LDR:Debug Service.APT:Debug and try running it again? Just for 20-25 seconds or so, no need to wait minutes, then share the log again?

Pokémon Y, Omega Ruby, A Link Between Worlds, Stella Glow, Fire Emblem Awakening, Fates and Shadows of Valentia, Digimon Redigitize Decode and SMT IV all boot fine from what I tested. Here's the log. Also putting in a extra log since it crashed when I first inputed the changes on log filter, it's the old one.

Tyvm for the help!

Edit: Wording

The crash is because the casing isn't correct on your log filters Make sure APT and LDR are all capital, not just the first letter. Could you also reset your settings to the default ones just to make sure it's not that as an issue? It shouldn't be, but I'm not sure what's causing this. If you've already tried that then no need to do it again. And I'm happy to help. I want as many people as possible to enjoy using the software and not be frustrated by it not working properly.
