
I always thought "tap" was an outlet of liquid in general, a "juicehole" if you will (please don't), and "faucet" was the specific fixture with the valve and the nozzle and the things. You tap a barrel, or tap maple trees, or have beer on tap, or get a spinal tap, etc.TAP (IT MEANS FAUCET, FUCKING AMERICANS)
