still, not PERFECT security, but what ever is?
its good enough, no ones stolen my vita yet.

btw, unrelated, but, ive had three break-ins since moving into my apartment nearly 20 years ago.
every single time they made a mess, searched everything, ignored every console, every item of tech etc etc i have of actual value.
they then went on to my neighbors where they stole money and jewelry... i only have a handful of coins in cash and no jewelry ever, so they didnt want my stuff.

thank god for my vita, havent played with it this much in years.

shame UnMetal never got a digital release, so its not on sonys servers, but, i heard, someone managed to preserve it online, so generations after us can enjoy it as well, thanks to NoNpDRM <3

If theyre all much older or much younger.. and not nerds? id probably not connect all too well

Try and broaden your horizons a bit. Treat this as the start of a new chapter. You don't have to have a lot in common with somebody in order to get along. You may find out that there's actually more to life than StarTrek and manga.

im not a big manga fan, but i do like tech.
i do get along with people, but for a deeper cconnection we'd have to share hobbies, like i do with my friends, sadly havent found anyone here who does.
who knows, might happen, yet.

naaah, they got like, keycards and stuff there that unlocks the doors. its more like a hotel with occupational therapy, psychology and psychiatry all in one. I got my own room and bathroom etc etc all to myself.

Damn....y'all lucky. When I was in residential after DYFS took me out of my house because of my abusive parents, it was almost like a jail/college dormitory. There was a laundry list of stuff we couldn't have in our rooms. We could have portables and consoles to attach to the TV in the lounge, but couldn't have TV's in our rooms. Of course, the staff favorites found ways around that. Like my one roommate who had a TV/VCR combo hidden in-between our dressers that he covered up with a box.

im sorry to hear that. yes, medicine and treatments work very differently here.

Well it's good that you get along with people. You're only there for a short time; getting along should be enough; you don't need to forge deep connections everywhere you go.
