Hello.
I modded some WiiU's a couple of years ago and I dusted them off because I'm about to get rid of them.
I did some things to them and I don't remember everything I did with the firmware.
I only have Japan region gamepads and one of them does not have a synced gamepad to it.
I installed the Nand-Aid on all of them.
I also installed the Pi-Pico mod on all of them. But for the Pi Pico mod I cut the 5v trace to the left front USB port and wired that into the Pi Pico as the power.
To get the recovery menu or minute to boot, I have to jump the 5v supply from the right USB port to the left one. I hand-made a PCB to do this.
It just boots into minute. I can't get it into the recovery menu even though I can see the exploit work (ie the Pi Pico is doing it's job). I tried editing the minute ini file to not autoboot but it doesn't work. It still boots into minute. I synced the Japan gamepads to the other ones so I know I've done this before.
I am just trying to sync a Japan region gamepad and I don't want to spend 10 hours on that before I sell it. I just want to get this done and be done with it. Why the heck does minute take over when you install it? How do I just boot the recovery menu? I tried just putting recovery_menu on the SD card but the exploit freezes. I see the blinking lights on the power button but then it goes red.
I don't want to install Aurora or some other piracy thing.
The only thing on the SD card is recovery_menu.
Thanks for your help.
