I'm having some issues using DBI.
Every time i run it, I get this error:
2025120923052300.jpg

I googled it and translated it, and for what I understood I had to use Lockpick_RCM to creat the prod.keys file.
This is the report of Lockpick:
lockpick_rcm.jpg

The file is already in switch/prod.keys but I still get that error.
And I don't know how to fix it.

My concern is on my Switch.
I bought a Modded but banned Motherboard on Aliexpress and swapped it.
This moderboard has a fake Serial number.
Since it was banned I didn't put the emunand, I'm running everything on syscfw.
Thank you all in advance.

I can't point you to a specific site, but I always just use google and get the keys instead of using my Switch.

But I also stopped using DBI because the creator threatened to brick people's switchs and is just a dick besides you dont need keys on most installers. I use AwooInstaller + NS-USBLoader on 20.5 works fine.

I tried to use a prod.key from a website for the 20.5.0 but had no luck.
About DBI:
I know, I don't like that attitude too, but with AwooInstaller I had many times installations fails, and with DBI I can update games through it.

I mean it's totally up to you but don't you get the updates with the games from the pirate sites? You just install two files instead of one no big deal. I don't think DBI holds updates but I could be wrong.

For me getting the keys off the Switch was always a PITA but that's just me.

Well you have to use the keys either through a website or off your switch those are your choices. So it's either keep trying or do something else. You dont actually NEED to install updates through DBI though that is not a requirement to get updates it may be more convenient but not necessary you just download the updates with the game itself on whatever piracy site you're getting the game from. If a game has an update it'll be there. The goal is just to have the game and the update, it doesn't really matter how you get there just that you get them installed on your Switch.

yeah that's true.
At this point tho i have a question.
Maybe my prod.keys are incomplete or corrupted due to the "aliexpress guy" reparing the motherboard in uncoventional ways? (I'm just supposing)
How can I test if my prod.keys are working, and by what is actually used for?

Just so you know, they aren't reliable at all for keeping the updates up to date. You'll have outdated updates for a lot of things.
It's the only automatic way that I've found. I don't want to search manually for an update :c Maybe there are better ways but I don't know.

I don't get it are you playing pirated games? The updates should be there with the base game most of the time on the same site.

How do you find games? Find updates the same way.

I use a telegram bot that gives links.
But what I'm saying is, how do I know if there is an update? With that DBI thing I just click on button and it finds things for me, instead of me going through all my installed game and see if there is an update one by one.

Yeah I think DBI can do that, but also so can NX-Update-Checker. Never used it myself though. Otherwise maybe someone else can help you with getting your keys because you'll need them for DBI if you can't this to work don't think there's a third way. You never answered BigOnYa's question though are you using the latest LockPick with the link he provided?

Do you really have to have game updates asap, day they are released? Most time, game updates are minor fixes anyways. To each they own I guess, you do you.

Yeah I get lazy sometimes and don't use them and that goes for Switch, PC, PS4 and rarely ever notice any difference when I do update and don't. Some games have major bugs that get fixed but it's rare.

I'll check Nx-update and about BigOnYa's question, I did answer it but for some reason the message is under moderation.
I said I used that version and the file that had "hekate" in it.

Even games that have been out for years have outdated updates going through notUltraNX.
I see, I wanted to find something that can automate it.

It just my monkey brain telling me "you have to keep everything update :3" but I guess I should get used to not care about updates that much.

There are places you can get the latest updates for games easily. Just can't say the names of those places here. Also, you don't need to go looking for updates for every game at the same time. Just look for the update for the game you're actually going to play. All of my nsps are on my PC and I only install what I'm going to play. After I had an emuMMC get corrupt with tons of games on it, I stopped installing a massive library of games and only install what I'm playing. :)
