try patching the game with GBATA (SRAM Patcher option), if that doesn't work then patch the already patched game with Metroid Maniac's gba-flash-patcher
and if that doesn't work either, you may need to add a battery to your bootleg cart (if it doesn't already have one) and just SRAM patch the games with GBATA

Thanks, I used GBADATA and everything seemed to work because it allowed me to save the game, but when I turn the console off and on again, it's erased and I have to start from scratch. I'll try the second method you suggested.

try it, I never personally tried the gba-flash-patcher myself, I modified my bootleg cart to have a battery and it worked with SRAM patches perfectly fine

Does anyone knows if this works with chisflash ?

This is literally to burn new roms into bootleg GBA cards, unfortunately it doesn't work with most bootlegs. Heck none that I tried worked.

You can buy a used 2DS and run GBA roms using open_agb_firm, unfortunately no trading or link cable use.
