@RocketRobz - greetings!

Who would I speak to in order to beg for inclusion of SpeccySE into the VirtualConsole?

Version 1.3 just got released and it should support command line arguments and the emulation is really quite good. Files would be .tap and .tzx and .z80 (if not already used for something else).

The ZX Spectrum has new high-quality games coming out weekly with a support group on FB alone with more than 110K people.

v27.17.4
v27.17.4 (hotfix)

What's new?

  • Various: Updated translations.

Bug fixes

  • Fixed an overlooked bug which caused detection of blank translated strings to crash in both first-boot and settings screens. Blank strings will now fallback to the default untranslated strings.
    • In other words, trying to open TWLMenu++ Settings when using the French language or selecting a language on first boot will no longer show a Guru Meditation Error!
  • If the `Games and Apps settings` page contains no settings (due to using DSiWarehax exploits and no Virtual Console add-on installed), the page will now be skipped entirely instead of showing a blank page.

i would like to ask if Twilight menu supports ewin2 + passme3 flashcard?

Is it just me or the version of Snemulds included in twl menu is the "revival" one?
Both the original and revival ones are included. The original one is used by default, unless you've set "NEW_SNES_EMU_VER" to "1" in "sd:/_nds/TWiLightMenu/settings.ini", which will enable the revival one.

Is the revival one better compared to the original one? I recall some games on the original not working properly on the revival

is it normal that my ds lite doesn’t sleep when I close the lid while in twilightmenu++? Sleep works fine absolutely everywhere else on the console.

Yes. The libnds sleep mode function is bugged (would sometimes crash after exiting sleep mode), so TWLMenu++ has it's own sleep mode function where it just turns off the screens and sound, and the actual sleep mode of the console is not used.

Is this unfixable or just too low priority to bother?

I have no idea how to fix this. Because of that, it's low priority.
I feel this in my bones😂. My chrono trigger ds text mod has a few low priority issues that are just gonna live on.

I feel like I’m missing something obvious but where can I set DSi mode as the default?

Running v27.17.3 with bootstrap v2.8.3 on new 3dsxl

Last edited by LexDG,
Hello, I'm experiencing some graphical errors in some Nintendo DS games from the Twilight Menu on a 3DS XL, specifically games with a 3D engine. The error is sporadically flashing black lines horizontally on both screens. The games I'm seeing this in are:
Ultimate Spiderman
Ghostbusters: The Video Game
and Transformers: Decepticon
I don't know if this issue has already been reported or if there's something I should know to fix it.
Thanks in advance.

v27.18.0
Includes nds-bootstrap v2.9.0 (GBATemp thread)

What's new?

  • Added autoboot files for `R4i SDHC Brand New V2.0` flashcards!
  • Suggested by @Sanrasxz: R4TF cards now use YSMenu as the flashcard loader instead of Wood!
  • A DSi donor ROM (Standalone DS WiFi Settings) is now automatically set on 3DS in order for nds-bootstrap to work around the small FAT cluster cache size limitation for DSi-Enhanced games. (Unknown if this works on Chinese and Korean consoles.)
  • Added widescreen support for Yu-Gi-Oh!: Nightmare Troubadour (USA). (Code by @deisuke1234)
  • Various: Updated translations.
  • New Rocket Robz logo.

Bug fix

  • The `B4DS mode` setting is now displayed if Slot-1 is running with SCFG access enabled and if SD access is disabled.

I bought a DSi that has Twilight Menu installed on a micro sd. Mine came with gba launcher folder, the app folder, and the sav folder but it didn't with an nds folder for roms, roms were directly there on the card. So I just add the folder and then move the roms and the sav folder there? And if I were to have subfolders, does they need a different sav folder for each?

Yes, you can.

Yes, they do.

Hi, I have a problem running the widescreen hacks for SM64DS. It used to appear in a previous build of TWLMenu but it doesn't appear in any settings menus. I did everything the wiki (https://wiki.ds-homebrew.com/ds-index/rtcom) said.
Also, the Cpad patches don't work when it used to work, IDK if you can solve that or not.
Is Luma running from CTRNAND or the SD card? You can check by opening the Luma config menu.
