Where is the English version of DBI?

I've used DBI for years, both the english and russian versions with no issues. It's not that hard to use the russian version as most of the menu is translated into english on the github release page...so even though the app is in russian you just look at the github web page and see what's what.

Although now that Sphaira is out and does most everything I've switched to it.

The applet nro doesn't install anything to the home menu.

That’s good to know but 99% of people don’t use applet mode because of the warnings multiple apps give you about it

So that’s kind of silly it being default behavior still. It should be optional

Not applet mode.

Applet nro, is in the tinfoil downloads site. It's the same nro but doesn't install the forwarder.

Most people use the self installer because the forwarder mode always launch the app in full ram.

Tinfoil needs full ram mode, even the applet version nro.

This is getting interesting, thanks for the effort!
Also, this could be used to other languages(latin-1 encoding)? Pt-BR for example had official DBI releases too, and stopped a while ago, which is kinda sad, because the new russian releases have some cool new features.
I think the only difference from english version would be the special characters on translation.txt, like "á" or "ç", that we use in Brazil.

So, if the translated version 810 starts behaving strangely, roll back to 658, or install the latest Russian version.

SO, had to update to the latest firmware, and got everything with the latest version. now this happens with lockpick, and I don't see installed games anymore...anny ideas?

OK, I downloaded a HATS Setup, and it worked.

But, my bought game downloads won't show up in citron. something about missing title keys, despite having a title key file in there :/.

It very clearly tells you it only works with the latest version of DBI, and you need to register.

Both are basically the same. Since you must use Incognito and add the exosphere layer on top, it doesn't matter which one you chose.

Nothing but the hosts file is needed and that definitely differs from 90DNS since for the latter, every single connection has to pass the 90DNS server causing an unneeded bottleneck whereas for the hosts file, telemetry to certain target servers (*caugh* Nintendo *caugh*) are just being blocked by the console itself causing no effect on other homebrew apps (like the appstare) so that they can connect to the internet in "full speed" just fine.
