Yea, I heard that too. It sounds like another internet history page is being turned. Just like with Skype being shutdown for good, AOL shutting down its service for good also gives this type of nostalgic feeling.

PS: Anyone here ever had Internet free-trial? I'm not talking about free-trials on internet. I'm talking about "free-trials of internet"

Yeah I used to use the free CDs off magazines or the ones that came in the post, and I used to use a credit card number generator to keep making more accounts for more free trials.

(The CC generator would make a number that passed the algorithmic checks to appear as a valid number, which was convincing enough for the ISP to start a free trial, but they weren't numbers tied to real accounts, so when the trial ended, the ISP's attempt to take payment would fail. This was before it became standard for the validity of the card to be checked online with the credit company every time, so when that happened this fun little scam stopped working)

Or the rule of three. Or synonyms. Or any other element of writing style. Avoid examples. Abandon grammar. Use shorter sentences. Give up on the written word. Embrace newspeak.

He couldn't have known at the time that face recognition-based lockouts will be implemented in the future. Besides, the system is clearly poorly designed and shouldn't be locking him out in the first place.

Yeah but humans are like the most basic of face recognition software and if someone who hadn't seen him in awhile would have issues recognizing the man id use a bit of common sense to get the idea that a computer wouldn't be much better. While the law is ridiculous its the same thing with finding a job when you have a face tattoo. It might not be fair but its like one of those no duh scenarios.
