Looks like a glossy blue DSi XL/LL to me, but I'm not positive.Hi lad. At first glance, its pins seem fine. As you were asked, are other cartridges detected? And what console is this? It doesn't look like a DS phat, nor a DS Lite, nor a DSi...![]()
The DS is region free, but Pokémon Black & White and its sequels are DSi enhanced, and the DSi is region locked. This makes them uniquely able to be played on an out of region console on a DS but not on a DSi

Makes sense. Well it doesn't, but I seemed to recall my B2 copy working on my Japanese n3DS... but I didn't remember if it was before or after CFW that I tried it.Funnily that's the biggest exception...ish
Every non-Japanese edition of Pokemon BW12 is enabled on every non-Chinese 23DSi, yes you're reading that correctly, "must of" been Trump, go figure!
Yup, my r4 and my Pokémon diamond copyJust a starting question, does the console read other cartridges?
Im sure it's ntscWhat region is your console, OP?
yeah they made them region free on purpose since they used the same rom between regionsFunnily that's the biggest exception...ish

NTSC is a video type, though since you said that, is the region USA or Japan?Im sure it's ntsc
Oh yeah USA, I got a bit confused there.NTSC is a video type, though since you said that, is the region USA or Japan?
