Issue with my Pokémon Black cart

I wanna use my copy of the game but the console isnt detecting it. Are the pins corroded or something?

Looks like a glossy blue DSi XL/LL to me, but I'm not positive.

The DS is region free, but Pokémon Black & White and its sequels are DSi enhanced, and the DSi is region locked. This makes them uniquely able to be played on an out of region console on a DS but not on a DSi.

Funnily that's the biggest exception...ish

Every non-Japanese edition of Pokemon BW12 is enabled on every non-Chinese 23DSi, yes you're reading that correctly, "must of" been Trump, go figure!

Makes sense. Well it doesn't, but I seemed to recall my B2 copy working on my Japanese n3DS... but I didn't remember if it was before or after CFW that I tried it.

yeah they made them region free on purpose since they used the same rom between regions

I bought a japanese copy of black and this doesn't work on my stock (C/TWL-EUR) dsi, it does on my twilighted dsi.
But this shouldn't be your problem. Testing it on a normal ds (lite) would be the easiest test.
