EDIT. I think the issue is that the AP Patch does not apply to the English patched rom correctly actually
Does the untranslated ROM work fine then?
Hi,
_ds_menu.dat
Thanks for the fast reply
Try getting the autoboot files from the "Ace3DS+" folder then.

I tryed every autoboot file named _ds_menu.dat , including Ace3ds+ folder, none of them worked.
i dont know if its allowed but i can upload the file to gbatemp ,

Have you tried getting the "akmenu4.nds" file from the "Acekard 2i & Acekard 2.1" folder, and renamed it to "_ds_menu.dat"?

does dldi matter for the autoboot? the dldi is here if it does, in case the card is different enough from all the others and can't work with any of the current files. I dont know if that can help to make a working autoboot file

it might be cool if .3ds files could show up on twilight menu on stargate, and you could select them to load them like on the original stargate kernel, but that function is probably super proprietary and it might be hard to reverse engineer

I have the sg_sd.dldi placed into sg_system/

v27.13.3
Includes nds-bootstrap v2.4.6 (GBATemp thread)

What's new?

  • The autoboot file for Stargate 3DS flashcards has been added from nds-miniboot (by @asiekierka).
  • Turning off the `Filename Display` setting will now hide filetypes/file extensions for banner-less titles.
  • The `Filename Display` setting is now visible in macro mode, but shown as `Filename as banner text`.
  • Various: Updated translations.

Bug fixes

  • DSi-based UIs: Fixed long cheat descriptions overlapping the `Back` text. Long descriptions will now hide the game icon and `Cheats` text.
  • Fixed retail ROMs containing a cracktro or extra splash (as well as the 3-in-1 Pokepatched Gen 4 ROMs) being detected as homebrew, in order to fix the white screen crash. Such ROMs may be hacked and/or translated.
  • The `System Volume Information` folder is now hidden, in case if it has appeared for certain users.

I'm getting a "FAT init failed! " screen when trying to run the latest version on a Super Card CF. Super Card CF doesn't/can't use FAT32 so I'm guessing that's the problem? The last version I used that worked is v23.3.0 with nds-bootstrap v0.53.0. I'm not updating, but attempting a new install on a separate CF card.

You may need to DLDI-patch "boot.nds".

I used TwilightBoxArt to add the box art, but it seems to have slowed down. How can I get rid of all the box art?

You can do one of the following:
  • Set the box art setting to Non-cached (or Cached, if you've already tried Non-cached) in TWLMenu++ Settings.
  • Turn off the box art setting in TWLMenu++ Settings.
  • Delete the "boxart" folder in "sd:/_nds/TWiLightMenu/".
