Can't get hackmii installer to work (No vulnerable ios)

Hello!

I recently discovered my old household Wii and decided to try to mod it. Unfortunately, it's done nothing but give me problems. I get the "No vulnerable IOS found" error on hackmii and have tried every guide I could find. Installing/reinstalling wads (either gives me errors or says i dont have permission), fresh clean nand from ohneschwanzenegger, nothing seems to work. I have no knowledge of any prior modifications to the Wii, but im pretty sure it's never been modded. But it was also our family's so im not sure if someone messed with it. I'm out of ideas. I'm posting here as a final hail mary, if anyone could offer any guidance whatsoever it would make my year. I will post syscheck and installer log below.

I would suggest walking through the steps in the guide and following ModMii's prompts. That should hopefully allow you to move forward.

Would you be willing to clarify how you came to this conclusion? ohnescwanzenegger would have resolved OP's issue if they were following a proper install guide afterwards. If they were following a misleading/outdated/bad guide though, encountering the same issues seems like a likely outcome.

If OP had said that they followed wii.hacks.guide step-by-step and used ModMii on their second pass, I'd be inclined to say that something other than misconfiguration could be at fault. Without that, I have a hard time jumping straight to hardware issues. If there's something obvious that I'm missing though, feel free to let me know.

The Wii also has been opened before, they have showed me pictured of the console. You can clearly see it is not only missing screw stickers, but the screws themselves.

I walked them through the process exactly how I do it on my Wiis. I even had them perform an official online system update which should download the files properly from Nintendo.

We have had this issue on multiple Wiis in the past, me and XFlak confirmed this is definitely a hardware issue.

Just wanted to follow up and thank you for the responses. I figured it would be a hardware issue and something more technical going on here. I’ve definitely followed hackmii guide and the wiki guide step by step to I highly doubt it’s user error on my part. Seems to me the only way to mod the thing is to clone another modded Wii to it. I was hoping a fresh nand would take care of it but oh well .

Before doing something radical that could potentially make the entire wii irreparable, try UNEEK or SNEEK.
It's a emulated NAND for the Wii.

I'm not super knowledgeable on the wii but messing around with a NAND is never a bright idea, considering the unit is approaching 20 years of age even more care should be taken to prevent NAND damage.

Hmm first time I’m hearing of it, I will definitely give it a lookup. I did backup the nand with BootMii and I will definitely be careful with messing with the nand. I only restored it with ohneschwanzenegger as a last resort and it still works okay.
