Hi everyone.
I have a PS5 EDM-020 with an error I have never encountered before.

The console powers on -> blue light -> white light -> signal on the screen for about 1-3 seconds -> then shuts off automatically .

I connected UART, and the error is 808300F0 - Secure Loader Error. ( the only error I'm getting).
I also found this error in a post on this forum with another description - 808300F0 Secure Charger Error .

I tried to replace the PSU -> same behavior.

What could be wrong with this console? All the voltages are present (the console boots up for 1-3 seconds), and I tried to monitor the board with a thermal camera, all the chips are heating up normally (all the RAM ICs , the SSD controller, southbridge, etc.).

tnx.

808300F0 - Secure charger error

What this likely means:
This error points to an issue with the charging control circuitry or power management system that handles secure charging operations, possibly USB ports, external power accessories, or internal battery management (if applicable). On a PS5, it likely relates to how the system negotiates power delivery or security validation on connected devices (like controllers or external accessories) over USB or charging ports.

If this error appears repeatedly:

It might indicate a fault in the USB subsystem, power management IC, or related data lines.

Could potentially cause issues like the system not recognizing connected devices properly or refusing to charge peripherals.
Good luck!

I did read the UART with other software, and i got the following error code and description: 808300F0 = SoC Sync Flood Check PG2

Decoded:

hmm, i will try to reflow the ports, and the power management IC (or replace it) ...
someone on a different forum said it had a back usb port not soldered properly on the board and had the exact same issue.

Did you solve it?
