So my vita stopped charging a while ago i assumed it was the micro usb port being bad so i replaced it with a usb c, after that it still didnt charge so i got a new battery, the new battery came almost fully charged so my vita worked for a bit but then the battery ran out, if the voltage drops below like 3.6-3.7 volts it will display an orange light and charge fine and when it gets to like 3.75 volts it just stops charging no orange light, i can turn the device on at this voltage it will turn on and run at 0% but still wont charge
I thought maybe the new battery i got was trash so i got another new battery from a different place this one is currently at 3.8 volts if i plug that it i get no orange light and cant even turn the console on it does nothing when pressing the power button.
One of the tiems i got it to boot at 0% i ran the battery fixer vpk and that didnt fix it so its not a calibration thing
Anyone else seen this issue it is really weird and doesnt really make sense
just an update i left it charging and it does actually charge the first battery i got and turn on with that the battery is now full but it does not show the orange led or the lightning on the battery icon in the os so it looks like its not charging while the voltage is going up i kept checking with a multimeter so its like the software thinks the battery isn't charging when it is anyone else seen this?
