Hello,

I use a Sysmodule (?) sys-screenuploader but when i boot the switch its "off" by default, how can i make it so its always on?
Now i have to go into the Hekate Toolbox to turn it on all the time.
All sysmodules are auto loaded if there is a file on the path SDMC://atmosphere/contents/XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX/flags/boot2.flag where xxxx is the sys-module ID.

Also if you have SYSMODULES overlay you can enable the auto startup, load and stop any sysmodule

maybe the sysmodule is crashing, you can get help on https://screenuploader.bakatrouble.me/

Thanks, weirdly enough the sysmodules overlay do not show the sys-screenuploader service, but when i go to hekate toolbox it does show. Also the Tesla overlay menu if disabled by default, when i turn it on via the hekate toolbox it only stays on until reboot.

SysModule overlay requiere you sysmodule to have a toolbox.json file on the folder of the sysmodule check your sd have it, is on the zip file of the module.

The new Zelda’s framerate dips are driving me insane so I ordered a jig and sd card to jailbreak my launch Switch. I know nothing about this stuff: I just want to play my games with the ability to overclock the Switch, it’s possible to have my purchased digital games on the jailbreak version?

It does have the toolbox.json file, without it, hekate toolbox would not show the sys-screenuploader module. If you have any other suggestions on how to make it boot on launch, I’d be happy to hear them. :) thanks!

Only if you have a V1 (pre 2018) console, if your console is newer you will need to install a ModChip

read the guide to be sure

Can I ask again what would any veterans here suggest that I should do to solve my issue from the previous page? I don't think anyone saw my previous post. Like I stated, I've realized that I do have an emuNAND backup from 2020 in the form of a 30GB rawnand.bin file. Am I just going to have to use that to restore my Switch? What would I lose in the process though? Like I said, the only thing I have on my Switch is Smash Bros and mods.

I restored my 2020 emunand (at least I think I did by following the instructions on the below page) but I still get the same error message on my screen when I try to boot into emuMMC. I can still boot into stock just fine though. Could my SD card just be defective? This all started when I tried to upgrade to the SD card found in the below Amazon link.

Let us recap what happened so far:
1. You upgraded your SD card to a bigger one by copying files from the old to the new card.
2. Your emuMMC did not boot (GPT error) using the new SD card. Only sysMMC (stock) boots.
3. You updated Atmosphère and Hekate on the new card, error persists.
4. You restored your sysMMC from an old 2020 eMMC backup, error persists.

Is that right?

Restoring a nand backup doesn't help if you wiped the emunand partition off your old sd card, you should have moved your emunand over to new card.

Hi, im unable to enter to my stock switch.

I just formated my stock switch since i wanted to fully reinstall everything and rehack the switch, and after formatting it, it was already at recovery mode so i put the sd in, open TegraRCM and inject hekate, after doing it i wanted to enter my just formated Stock switch, and when i press on the Stock switch icon it just gives a black screen and a red text saying this:
---------------------------
Error while loading fss0:
atmosphere/package3
Wrong ini cfg or missing/corrupt files!

Failed to launch HOS!

Press any key...
------------------------------

So for now i think im stuck at the emummc and at hekate and i don't know what to do

with fat32formatter

For stock you can try this

[config]
autoboot=0
autoboot_list=0
bootwait=0
verification=1
backlight=100
autohosoff=2
autonogc=0
updater2p=1

{--- Custom Firmware ---}
[CFW (SYSMMC)]
fss0=atmosphere/package3
kip1patch=nosigchk
emummc_force_disable=1
icon=bootloader/res/sysnand.bmp
{}

[CFW (EMUMMC)]
fss0=atmosphere/package3
kip1patch=nosigchk
emummcforce=1
icon=bootloader/res/emummc.bmp
{}

[(Stock)]
fss0=atmosphere/package3
stock=1
emummc_force_disable=1
icon=bootloader/res/icon_switch.bmp
{}

I finally decided to buy a Switch before Switch 2 Electric Bugaloo comes out.

How do I be Hackerman and get the most out of a new 2024 Switch?

hackerman-emote.gif
That depends. Did you buy an unpatched Switch? If you didn't, you're going to have to solder a modchip inside to get the most bang for your buck. If you're unsure, it can be estimated based upon the serial number but even then, that isn't 100% guaranteed. Overall, I would recommend following this guide as it will not only reveal if its hackable or not but also show you how to set up your console for CFW.
