Now with the new Atmosphere and new firmware I get the following error message when installing tinfoil:
error 2155-8007
The installed games run without problems
Can someone please help me?

I can't get any of the sigpatches posted here since last night to work. I was using package3 and hekate, so i should just have to copy over the new files, yes? And yet nothing works. I've updated AMS, Hekate, and tghe patches numerous times, my injector is up to date, too. I guess I'll have to install syspatch, then. How do I install syspatch? I've never installed any sysmodules or overlays or anything like that. I don't know how to use them even if they're there.

Just extract the zip file to the root of your sd-card and reboot your Switch

Sigpatches aren't working on your end. You can:

1) Load Atmosphere's package3 via Hekate's FSS0 - You'll need to reboot to Hekate, go to Launch and select emuNAND CFW or sysNAND CFW (depending on which one you use). If you've downloaded the sigpatches from here. your bootloader/hekate_ipl.bin will already have everything you need to have configured.
2) Use modified Atmosphere's fusee.bin payload with ips kip patches support.
3) Use sys-patch instead of sigpatches.

Right now, sys-patch seems to work for everyone. I'm not sure what's wrong with sigpatches, to me it seems like they are incomplete. Therfore, just use sys-patch instead, for the time being or from now on.

Reboot after that and that's pretty much it, yes.

You can download sys-patch from here. Just drag and drop onto the root of your SD card. It should work on its own after reboot.
Optionally, you can install Tesla + nx-ovlloader as that will allow you to see whether sys-patch is working properly, after you press L + D-pad Down + R (Stick) combo, select sys-patch, followed by Log. If it says:
  1. Patched = the pattern it's searching for is already patched by sigpatches, so there's no need to patch it again;
  2. Patched = the pattern is patched by sys-patch (i.e. sigpatches are not present or haven't been applied on boot);
  3. Unpatched = the pattern wasn't found by sys-patch on the current system so there's no need to patch them (only present if you turn off the Version skip in the Options).

With that being said, I haven't tried sigpatches with modified fusee.bin yet. Not sure how different would that be compared to the loading Atmosphere's package3 via Hekate's FSS0? I've tried all of the sigpatches posted here as well and, based on what sys-patch log says, only ldr and es patches are Patched, nifm and fs are Patched. Sure, they may be searching for different patterns and stuff, but after I turned off sys-patch and rebooted, Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door stopped working for me and it returned an error that it may be corrupted. After I turned sys-patch on and rechecked the game, it worked just fine. My guess is that it didn't work because of fs patches didn't work for me and I've installed an unsigned/modified XCI or something.

Thankfully, sys-patch works properly, but it's a bit inconvenient for the people that are using sigpatches only.

What is sys-patch 1.5.2?
Sys-module that does the same thing as sigpatches, to put it simply.

It's useless. And I don't use any sys-modules.
Well, it's probably the only way for now to get complete sigpatches until sigpatches are fixed. Installing isn't difficult at all, you just have to drag and drop onto your SD card and reboot. Games should work properly afterwards.

I'm experiencing exactly the same problems. I've also tested the modified fusee.bin, and it only works when activating sys-patch.

It seems pretty obvious that sigpatches are not working properly under FW 18.1.0.

impeeza released it here, mainly because he was tired of seeing the -dirty tag attached to the release. Therefore, he opted for 1.5.2 version instead. Explained here.
Excellent, thank you for the info! <3

The version displayed on the NRO and Overlay ha ha ha ha, just for remove the -dirty tag, my OCD was killing me.
That's hilarious. I forked the NRO editor to include OVL files as well, for this exact purpose: https://github.com/HenryBaby/nro-ovl-asset-editor

I updated the latest version 18.1 and the latest version of atmosphere and I copied the latest sigpatches, but zelda skyward and two other apps do not open.. when I launch zelda , my switch send me the message "could not start the software. return to the menu home and try again".. But the strange thing is that it is only with zelda skyward and two other apps.. The other games work perfectly.

The new sigpatches doesn't seem to work properly. Use sys-patch instead or wait for new sigpatches
