Fact of this situation is I asked a simple question, politely, and I proved that to you in my last reply. urherenow replied with smart ass comments. That is a fact and anyone can see the order of events plain as day. Again, my post flaming them is literally AFTER their smart ass comments. There was absolutely zero bickering between anyone prior to that. It's all right there for everyone to see. To top it off you had to come in and intentionally try to stir the pot and cause trouble when you weren't even involved. Clap clap. And "Acting like a child who doesn't get what they want"? Edit: For the record, I was in fact trying to help the OP in making an educated decision between a file or partition based emunand by politely requesting where I could find documentation of file based performance being improved. lol... my rude remarks and bullshit were links to code, and copy/paste from changelogs. Sorry if you can't read code, and that you either haven't been in the scene long enough or didn't pay attention enough to know that I know WTF I'm talking about. And YOU are the one with the corruption claim, so you'd need to be the one providing that evidence, genius. Stop being a man-child.

Thank you for this. I have copied my 1tb to 1.5tb card 3x and gotten this error and was lost. The odd thing is when atmosphere attempts to boot the whole card gets corrupted and needs a format, I think its because I'm file based. Yet I know i Know everyone is thinking its a fake card but I assure you its real. I can copy/read over and over but once i tried to load package 3 it gets corrupted on atmos 1.7.1. I am now updating to 1.8.0 and with this fix I am hoping it will all work with the next overnight copy. UGH

UPDATE: I was my package 3 boot that caused the failed boot and corruption of my file based EMMLAND. So thanks again, this was the solution I was looking for, for 3 days.

Glad it was helpful. I'll have to do some rereading and refreshing on everything for myself.

I'm about to do a complete SD wipe and update of the cfw/ofw. It's been over a year since I last updated anything. I will be returning to a partition-based system as the slowdowns on a file-based emummc are noticeable enough for me, especially on SSMB. Since it is one of the main games played in our household, it's enough reason to revert back to a partition-based emummc to get better speeds.
