Hacking Share your custom Hekate bootlogo thread

Does anyone have this boot logo to share with me?

Sorry if I misunderstood you but...

The hekate bootlogo is changed merely by placing the image you posted under Switch_SDCard:/bootloader/bootlogo.bmp

Open the file in gimp (it's open source freeware paint on crack) and add a layer (to force alpha) then save it as bootlogo.bmp and place it where I said above.



Are you asking someone to do the above for you? (if so here you go but you have to rename it to bootlogo: http://7h.gg/dl/android.bmp)

Does anyone have this boot logo to share with me?

I toyed around in photoshop for about an hour before getting aggravated with the gradient tool and giving up, but that is the LineageOS icon, would be pretty simple to recreate if you had the time.

thanks all will try this, but just to confirm it will not messing up our switch when we do firmware upgrades, right? for example from 16.00 to 17.00 (for all, HOZ, ATM, and Hekate)

Nope. Displaying a Bootlogo works always. Independent from the firmware version.

Went ahead and continued on my Hekate bootsplashes with some new colors; and a bit of a special one. All are converted to .bmp's for one's convenience.

even 7 years after I'm gonna thank you for this, Minimalism is the best, I agree with the 2018 guy

Follow the instructions on the first page and the github page as you've obviously done something wrong.

I have a small problem. I downloaded an image from the forum and uploaded it to my OLED switch with magic from the SD card. I gave it the same name as the previous image, but when I start it, it doesn't appear. It loads the default Hekate image. What could it be or what solution could you give me? Unless there's some other app or setting I don't know about, your first image should say MITM, rather than MIMT.

You have to convert it to .bmp (x8r8g8b8), counterclockwise once and save it.

Here is a pack of all my hekate bootlogos rename them to bootlogo and place them in the bootloader folder on your sd card.
