Now my hekate_ipl.ini looks like this.

This is my bootlogo.bmp inside bootloader dir.
still not working...

what you mean for the option in the hekate settings?

if you mean customlogo=1 entry it's obsolete

apparently the bmp i was using was not rotated.

The option in the f...king hekate settings. When you send the hekate payload, you get a screen where you can choose which firmware you want to boot. OFW or CFW. And there are the settings where you can choose the delay for the bootlogo, enabling autorcm, enabling bootlogo and some stuff. You know what i mean?

Quick fix... I think it's the right size and left the Hold Vol (rotated to work as splash screen).

For custom android roms, you have to install a whole bootanimation. This one here is only for the switch.

yeah i know but i meant for when you select Lineage on Hekate, i have an idea for a bootanimation but i'm not sure if i can make it

I haven't seen one posted, and couldn't find one using search -- so here goes. Sorry if this is a dupe/unnecessary, mods feel free to delete or move to a more appropriate sub-forum. I know some are posted under the main Hekate thread, but with forks, etc. I thought it might be better to not pollute the mainline/technical discussion with bootlogos.

In your hekate_ipl.ini (under config, loads from the root of the SD card) -

customlogo=1
logopath=/bootlogo.bmp

Per the bootlogo README: https://github.com/CTCaer/hekate/blob/master/README_BOOTLOGO.md

The bootlogo can be any size with a maximum of 720 x 1280.
When it's smaller than 720 x 1280, it is automatically centered and the background takes the color of the first pixel.
When saving a landscape bootlogo, it should be rotated 90 degrees counterclockwise.
Lastly, the supported format is 32-bit (ARGB) BMP. Classic 24-bit (RGB) BMPs are not supported for performance reasons.

Basically create a 1280x720 image, rotate it 90 degrees counter-clockwise, save as 32-bit BMP (bitmap) file.

Hi, I have a Question about the format, GIMP allows me to save on to two 32 bits BPM formats:

A8 R8 G8 B8 &
X8 R8 G8 B8

which of them is the required for Hekate?
