looks like something is going wrong on my emummc... on latest atmosphere with sigpatches. anybody got any idea if it's anything besides corruption? switch ran out of battery while in sleep mode and when I turned back on it will only boot to this

I thought he was referring to the most updated stable version.

I tried replacing the files with 1.5.4 prerelease and I'm still getting the same error.
All versions arnt stable even 1.5.3 if they was there would not be updated versions

Should of chise FAT32+eXFat
Yes, well, I didn't, which is how I came to be here. Any suggestions on how I might fix this problem?

I just updated my CFW and FW to their latest versions using the rentry guide, but I am unable to boot into emummc through Hekate. When I try, it immediately goes into RCM mode, and injecting hekate again causes the following error message:

Panic occured while running Atmosphere.
Title ID: 0100000000000000
Error: UNK (0x6)

If I boot through fusee.bin, Atmosphere works fine. Does anyone know what I might have done wrong? I just migrated to a new sd card two days ago, but everything was working perfectly until I installed version 16.0.3 using daybreak. So far, I've tried using a completely fresh atmosphere folder, which didn't work.
You sir have helped me without even trying! Thank you for giving me the idea to try using Fusee to boot my switch! It works! I have a similar problem where I tried updating using daybreak and it broke my switch when I try to boot to CFW -emuMMC through Hekate my switch hangs. But through fusee it boots just fine and my version is 16.0.3 AMS 1.5.3|E . Now the next step is how do I back up all my saves and whatnot in the event this thing crashes again?

Hekate not work because your hekate_ipl.ini isnt correct then

TL;DR: instinct switch freezes mid game, or black screens after Atmosphere logo, after working fine for weeks. Related error code: 2105-0602. Error happening on Latest public atmosphere version, as well as previous version before he updated Atmos.

Friends new Instinct modded OLED was working fine for a couple weeks. (Was setup with a donated 256 gb SD card I previously used in my switch for about a year, before upgrading to 512gb).
So now when he's playing games like Zelda, Mario kart, etc and the games will freeze up mid game, title screen, anywhere. Sometimes he has to hold power for 15 seconds and when it reboots, usually gets to atmosphere logo and then endless black screen when the Nintendo logo is expected. Sometimes after a few reboots, he will eventually get back into the switch home screen.
He has once or twice gotten this atmosphere error before the freezes became daily: https://i.postimg.cc/ZK5gVR71/Screenshot-20230606-200305-Messages.jpg

Hoping this just indicates an SD card problem, Rather than something wrong with the chip or the switch, (Or emummc?) but have found hardly any info on that error code.

He has tried replacing atmosphere/Hekate/fusee files with the latest using rentry guide, and didn't really change anything. He hasn't messed w themes or homebrew apps.
I told him in the meantime to get a new SD card and set it up to test and see if he can get it to consistently boot into atmosphere, and then copy the old data to the new card as it's in file format. Any suggestions what might be the issue cause? Thanks all!

Thanks for the link but it doesn't answer any of the questions asked. eMMC also contains older version of the OS, emunand is way ahead.

Use emutool, convert hidden partition emunand to file base, then convert it back to hidden partition.
You mean on switch or on PC?

Running it on PC now, seems to be very slow compared to DD.

Note that emu nand is booting fine. What doesn't work is path to the Nintendo/contets (for games installed on SD).

I've also noticed curious effect, in hekate:

"Change emuMMC" changes path to "HPE0".
"Fix raw" changes it to "RAW1".

What determines whether path is RAW1 or HPE0? :((((

I've tried putting Nintendo/... folders in both, no luck.

Tried installing new title via DBI and... it fails to install (perhaps I'm installing game that was installed already).

I have a modchip installed on my Nintendo Switch and I'd like to know the best route of avoiding a ban.
I want to play my official purchased games on my OFW and use homebrew apps on my CFW but what would be the best course of action?

Use emummc for homebrew, and use stock for emmc. clear out your serial number for emummc. that's the best course of action for now. 90dns isn't trustworthy to most people, so don't just use that.

Hi there !

I'm a big noob, I've tried to figure out to solve my problem by myself but I've failed.

I've an oled and I've got an hwfly installed with hekate, emmc, atmosphere. All was working fine for months. I figured to upgrade to 16.0.2 and all was still fine.

One week ago, I wanted to change langage in cfw mode. Crash.
Reboot on hekate but black screen on cfw boot. Ofw still ok.
Then reboot on cfw, black screen.
Then reboot and nothing ! Hekate doesn't load, black screen and green/orange light from the inside.

I've tried :
- different starts : power +, -, both (with a long press on power to make a real shutdown)
- rebuild my sd card, buy and build a new one

There is a green light on the switch support when I put the console so I guess it's not an alimentation problem too.

The one who installed the chip is in vacation for a couple weeks so if you have any idea to help without opening the console I would be happy to try them.

Thanks a lot

Edit : the last thing I wanted to try was to empty the battery by being stuck for days on the black screen while green and orange lights flashing. Good idea ?

If DBI and JKSV are programs that I can manage saves while I can boot into CFW, are there any programs that can do the same in my case where atmosphere will not load? I don't know what options I have other than to delete the corrupted save somehow, or else doing a full system wipe which I am not familiar with. I have a backup NAND on my computer with 7 files in addition to BOOT 0 AND BOOT 1 files but since I did the backup quite a few months ago, I had since upgraded the switch firmware as well as the custom firmware. I don't know if that would become an issue. Maybe just starting over, redoing all my games, and importing the saves from JKSV is my best bet... (And maybe backing up the NAND every week or so)

I have a question on save files. So I have a switch that I was originally playing on that is not using CFW. I was playing TOTK on there. I got really far. Now I have this new switch that is running CFW. I'm running off SD via emuMMC.

I want to get my TOTK save data over from my legit switch over to my one using CFW. I pulled the SD, loaded back up in to OFW, linked the new switch and did a legit save transfer. It worked.

Now I put everything back on the switch the way it was with CFW but my save is not there. Likely because i'm running emuMMC and that save is stored on the system.

My question is, how can I get that save over to the emuMMC. I see a folder in the "emuMMC/RAW1/Nintendo/save". My assumption is that I just have to find it and put it in this folder and i should be good. I can't figure out where the legit save is though to move it.

I tried to download checkpoint.nro but it didn't run. the screen flashes, the checkpoint folder gets created and then goes away. So that didn't help.

Another issue I have is that I played TOTK for a little bit on this CFW switch so it has it's own save file. I loaded JKSV and it sees that save but not the one from the other switch that i want to use.

Sorry if this is all confusing. I'm equally confused.

JKSV requires a non-encrypted save, like one you dump from JKSV, to import a save. It also needs that save to be in the JKSV folder. From my understanding, you have a save on your emmc and need to move it to emummc. Is your emummc banned? Try moving your save to the emummc using the method you did to move it using emmc (legitly), if not. If your emummc is banned, I don't know what to do.

I hope it’s true here are no stupid questions, so let me ask some:

Didn’t used my switch for a long time and want to update the CFW now since my daughter in finally old enough to play.

Problem is being apart from the scene I have no idea anymore what I am supposed to do and what changes there have been over time.

My current version (as shown on my switch) is: 9.0.0/AMS 0.9.4/S

1. what is the easiest way (preferably withstand tutorial) how I upgrade to the latest version?

2. I set my switch to Auto RCM mode, is this still required in order to avoid putting to the switch manually into RCM once the battery dies?

3. sorry for the noob questions, but what program do I use again on my PC and my Switch to install games and updates?

4. when it comes to Roms there are different types (e.g. eshop) what are the differences and which one would be preferred?
