Second, what I meant for mod is modchip since I have oled switch. Now base from my understanding I should always update sysMMC and emuMMC through daybreak with legit firmware. How about ofw( press + & - button) can I update using WiFi?

OFW is a mode like CFW. It isn't something you modify or "update". You update sysMMC and emuMMC.

I keep getting error messages when I try to factory reset my Switch (error 2002-0008). I also get an error when trying to delete my second user (2002-0007), and I have a couple of saves that can't be removed. Everything else is deleted from the Switch. I have removed sd card, game cartridges, used another sd, factory reset from boot meny etc. It seems to me like the internal memory is corrupted. Sx os have been installed but I switched back to ofw years ago and have not been banned. The switch is updated and I have a old nand backup saved. Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks!

im trying to find a vulnerability its because there is a vulnerability with the Bluetooth as the 8bitdo takes advantage and allows any controller to connect so what if someone connects a microcontroller that contains a jailbreak script, as there was a video with a jailbreak using a microcontroller, but to do that you have to open up a switch, so cant you just buy a microcontroller with a 8bitdo, put the jailbreak command on the microcontroller and then run a script that will let the switch identify it as a joycon and then add the jailbreak script? as then the switch would run anything the microcontroller says as it will be known as an admin? this would work as the Nintendo switch (including the chip) follows any joycon command and you could buy a possible microcontroller with Bluetooth like a Pico w for cheap, this would be a simple process as someone would make the script, you would connect the microcontroller with Bluetooth to the 8bitdo and run the command on the switch. I hope someone reaches out to me as a response to my theory.

If you think you have an idea to hack the console, then do it yourself. There are way too many threads about people who don't know hacking suggesting exploits that lead to absolutely nowhere. You are certainly not the first and unfortunately won't be the last. Also, I told you to quit making new threads and use the Switch Noobs Paradise as you are clearly a noob.

If you don't know how to hack a console, please don't create ideas on how to hack one. You need an exploit, not an idea. Hackers don't pick the avenue on how to hack. They look for vulnerabilities. Leave it to the experts and either get yourself a modchip or an unpatched unit.

I think that the picofly you installed was fake as there are many fakes going around or you made a mistake in the proccess of putting it in or out. I think your best bet is to consult an expert or check if you soldered in on correctly as this is an extremely frustrating process

just in case you don't know, I have jailbreak a DSi, ps3 and I know the exploit behind the Wii mini, I am currently learning coding now can you please understand that this is a theory, it doesn't mean it will work but I just hope someone would test it as I never jailbroke a switch, if its not going to work, just explain it because if you see from my viewpoint, it all makes sense also I need someone to at least test it or make a script.

So you don't know how to code, you've never developed an exploit for a console yourself, nor do you understand the inner workings of BlueBomb. Nobody, let alone anybody in this scene, is going to listen to a script kiddie which is basically what you are. You don't have any proof or experience to backup your claims. Do you know who SciresM is? The lead developer of the CFW Atmosphere? He has poured over 500 hours of his life towards finding another exploit in the Switch. Do you know what he found? Absolutely nothing. The console has been out for several years at this point, People like him have tried many things and nothing new has been discovered. You're crazy if you expect someone else to do the work for you when you haven't done the bare minimum. So you hacked a DSi and a PS3? Anybody can do that if they have a basic reading comprehension. That doesn't mean you understand how the hacking process works at all.

Have you tried factory resetting console from Maintenance Mode? If not, you can enter Maintenance Mode by holding the volume + and - buttons when turning the console on.

I`ve paid someone to solder me a HWFly on a Switch OLED and everything was set up on the provided SD Card. EmuNAND and "autoboot" to Atmosphere is installed. It seems to me, that he used some kind of "custom" setup, where his custom bootscreen pops up during the boot process into Atmosphere. My question is how to ditch his setup/config and use a initial boot to Hekate and to manually boot into Atmosphere/CFW and/or OFW. Can I backup the backup NAND Files, wipe the SD Card and copy over the i.e. HATS Pack and do an initial emuNAND creation process?

ok but dont read my forums if you dont like them. I know that your probably a professional but I want to give Modders an idea, I know I'm a beginner but I'm trying to find out if this exploit works because me and other beginners don't want to risk bricking our switch or breaking pieces, I'm sorry if I triggered you but I'm just trying to give out an idea, plus my exploit exists because an 8bitdo does allow anything to connect to a switch but I'm sorry if I'm wrong, I'm new, didn't mean any problems man. If some kid starts preaching about how we should abolish government because of their theories and thinking, that doesn't automatically we should listen to what they're saying. Same applies to people who know absolutely nothing about hacking suggesting an exploit. Not once in the history of console hacks has an exploit ever been discovered by a noob suggestion. And as I said earlier, you are nowhere near the first and I wish you were the last but noobs will always think they know what they are talking about when they don't.

I just updated my Switch with Daybreak to the newest OS (16.0.2) and I chose FAT32 when I should have chosen FAT32+ExFAT (oops). I cannot load the CFW now as it's complaining about the incorrect HOS driver. How do I fix this?

Format the SD card to FAT32.

DZ is a bad homebrew app that less and less people are using nowadays. I recommend you to switch as well. I would advise you to use TinWoo Installer. Its what I personally use and I never have any issues while using it.

Those devs get along like oil and water; there is no common ground. The team behind Atmosphere are strictly anti-piracy which DZ is a piracy app while the developer who makes DZ, known as blawar/vertigo, was a huge fan of SX OS but now that its defunct, he is forced to support Atmosphere. Since Atmosphere works for everyone else, the problem is most likely due to DZ itself which is why I recommended switching.
