samsung is fine. @Riben is broken. Ask for refund on @Riben First offer will be best offer. Encourage you to accept.
If this card is fine so sys-ftpd-light must be broken but if it is working fine on other cards something must be quacky with Samsung but yea iam defienietly broken also but unfortunately iam not from amazon :D

I only have the mSD for like a month but so far 0 problems even with OC and many sysmodules + exfat still no corruption.

In fact only had problems with bayonetta 3, it was unplayable always corrupting before starting the game always when loading and after many installs I just downloaded it from a different place and boom worked right away.

Ps: you might have bad sectors in the mSD, if you get any just send it back for a replacement or try doing a full format (not fast) as it might fix them.
yes, i was doing that already but there are no bad sectors on this card :D

Oh and BTW, I haven't forget about OC Suite on Erista...
.............
edit: ahh i see it is as low as 1,1 to go so hmmm :D it doesn't work at all or it can be pushed much more on that voltage i guess?

edit2:Basic kip max clock is 1862400 so maybe try to crush it with 1.1 volatage on that clock :P ?
Max voltage is range: 1100 ≤ x ≤ 1400 from kip values and it says "Acceptable range" so you can try to go lower i guess? Buuut again dont listen to me :D.
I have just tested and Erista max CPU voltage set to 1.1 volt on their latest ".kip" online configurator really seem to be working.

It's as follow (CPU):

408mhz ~825mv;
1020mhz ~881mv;
1122mhz ~912.5~mv;
1224mhz ~943.8mv;
1326mhz ~975mv;
1428mhz ~1006.2mv;
1581mhz ~1056.2mv;
1683mhz ~1093.8mv;
1785mhz ~1100mv (the max set 1.1V);

Unlocking unsafe frequencies:
1887mhz ~1100mvmv; and probably the same above it, really seem to setting fine 1.1v as max.

Tested with 0 load idle in Switch HOS and a lot of the values jump between 2 numbers and I type above only the highest number.

Ps: I used InfoNX from the @Cooler3D mod (4IFIR) for the voltage reading, so thanks to him cause I couldn't find the compiled InfoNX anywhere...

Good job. So kip is working and when it is set up for that voltage on the max core clock it is downscaling voltage on other clock's ?

Just tested changed the ".KIP" to whatever OC suite default:

408mhz ~825mv;
1020mhz ~875mv instead of ~881mv when set to 1.1v;
1122mhz ~912.5~mv;
1224mhz ~943.8mv;
1326mhz ~981.2mv instead of 975mv;
1428mhz ~1018.8mv instead of 1006.2mv;
1581mhz ~1056.2mv;
1683mhz ~1100mv instead of 1093.8mv;
1785mhz ~1131.2mv instead of 1100mv (the max I had set 1.1V on the other "kip");

Unsafe frequencies:
1887mhz ~1181.2mv;
1963mhz ~1212.5mv;
2091mhz ~1237.5mv (I think it's the actual max CPU voltage by default);

Hope they eventually make GPU voltage and memory voltage working out-of-box for Erista.

Also wished they had voltage settings for each frequency in their configurator😕

Ps: I really would love to test 4IFIR some day to see how it compares though @Cooler3D mod biggest difference probably is a good amount of other stuff he worked on other than just voltage\clocks\timmings. In the PC world high wattage chips usually make a huge difference but in very low TDP chips the wattage I don't think will go anywhere close to 4IFIR difference with voltage...

Edit: forgot to say why there's no OC suite thread here on gbatemp grrrr, at least I never found it (some good soul should make a OC Suite thread to share opinions cause I don't think I even ever made a GitHub account).

I have a switch that was hacked on SYSnand and has never been online. I want to COMPLETELY remove all traces of modded data and unhack the switch so I can connect online without getting banned. Can someone tell me what I need to do to accomplish this?

Thanks

Best way is to restore from a clean backup. Do you have one from before you started hacking?

if not, the next best way is Haku33. The Dev says it’s pretty clean but there’s always a risk of creating a flag while cleaning things. We don’t have a bible that tells us what all the flags are, nor do we have a crystal ball that tells us what the future flags might be.

I may have a clean backup, how can I restore from those files?

That would be GREAT news. Here’s how to restore your clean backup to Sysnand using Hekate.

https://rentry.org/BackupRestoreNAND

everything can be done on the Switch using Hekate

I highly recommend taking a backup of your current emunand onto a clean sd card just in case we need to get back.

once done, put that in a safe place and then swap for your backup files and go for a restore as indicated in the section just below that.

once you’re done with everything, if you decide to re-hack your Switch with an emunand (so you can still go online with your clean Sysnand), just start at the top of the guide: https://rentry.org/SwitchHackingIsEasy

Absolutely. That’s specifically why I had you create a backup first. We will have everything we need to restore game saves from the backups. :-)
So I need to make a new sysnand backup before I clean my switch in order to get the save data back? I wanted to transfer my save data to the cloud on a different account and then re-hack it after. If I use that tool I will lose all of my save data. Won't restoring it make it to where I cant access the cloud servers without getting banned?

Hello, I just got my switch OLED modded and I have zero experience with any of this. I was sent here to maybe get help with setting it up. I was able to figure out a little bit, like putting some stuff on the SD card. I feel like I did pretty well. I have an error code coming up though when I touch albums to run atmosphere. 2144-0001. I haven’t figured anything out yet. My switch is brand new and I haven’t gotten as far as past this point. I’ve just been trying to follow all these guides but I feel like it’s hard to find anything for the OLED. Maybe someone can help me?
Thanks.

yes. We should make a backup regardless just in case anything goes sideways.

we can use the backup to create a new Emunand directly from the backup. The emunand will not be allowed to go Online, but your Sysnand will be able to because it will be 100% clean. We can use other tools to extract your game saves and xfer them to your Sysnand if you’d like.

Won't I get flagged from Nintendo servers for having a save file for a game I do not own? that's something that worries me

I don't know anything about it but if you don't own the game you can simply keep the saves elsewhere like in your PC, I mean it's not like your going to play those games anyway unless you buy them later or decide to hack later which you can put the saves.

I don't know if saves have any tracking info for Nintendo either, someone else with knowledge will answer you but I wanted to add that the safest way possible is having a full 100% clean sysnand and a clean mSD cause Nintendo can change whatever they want at any point and start banning for whatever else they want at any point...

Also wanted to add almost everything should be taken with a grain of salt cause I mean on Xbox360 dvd drive FW 4 example the hacker C4eva said his FW was impossible for M$ to track but after some time he apologized cause it was detected and he updated it, then he saidit was impossible for M$ to ever flash the drive without physical access and then M$ was like hold my beer and did the impossible, they got a way to flash what was supposed to not be writeable from the console it self 😂

Yes, if you install a backup of a game you do not own on an unprotected Sysnand you will be flagged for a ban. Period.

Our goal here is to only install games you own on Sysnand. If you want to get a little shady on your emunand, that’s your business but we will set emunand up so it wont accidentally connect to Ninty servers anyway.

if you have games you own and have some games saves for them on your current Sysnand, we can restore them using the method above. If not, we will simply restore your game saves to the blocked emunand and it will work just like it does today…except not touching your clean Sysnand.

I successfully installed CFW on my Switch a few days ago and recently upgraded to a larger microSD card. Before having to format my SD card in preparation for CFW I backed up my OFW files (the "Nintendo" folder containing "saves", "album", and other data) Can I copy and paste these files onto my partitioned SD card or am I going to have to redownload everything via the eShop?

EDIT: I've copied and pasted over my old Nintendo folder to my SD card and I still have to redownload data for each title even on OFW. Album data is the only thing that seems to show up on OFW. Did I do something wrong/ is there a special tool to use for recovering OFW saves and data or do I have to manually redownload everything from the eShop? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
Your emuMMC has its own designated Nintendo folder which in turn is designated by the emummc.ini file. The Nintendo folder from your old SD card has to be merged in some way with this new Nintendo folder for your emuMMC. You have 2 options. The first one is to simply replace the Nintendo folder used by your emuMMC with the one from your old SD card. This will ensure emuMMC and sysMMC have 2 different libraries at all times but you will also have 2 Nintendo folders on your SD card, one for emuMMC and the other for sysMMC which can take up more space overall. The second option, assuming you are using the old Nintendo folder from your other card for sysMMC on the new card, is to have both sysMMC and emuMMC read the same Nintendo folder. You adjust the path in the emummc.ini file so it reads presumably the Nintendo folder on the root of the SD card which is the one your sysMMC uses by default. This is the simpler approach that saves you more space on your SD card however some people worry that this may cause a ban due to emuMMC usually carrying pirated titles. But I should mention that pirated and legitimate content appear identical within the Nintendo folder so Nintendo won't be one the wiser.

Is there any cheat app that I can download GBAtemp cheats collection and manually add them all in the app specially in the compressed ".rar" format that it comes?

It's a very big collection that just the huge number of folders and small .txt files make my switch to always lock up and freeze if opening the title folder via USB...

I have installed AIO updater but don't see how to manually add cheats downloaded from a PC to put in the switch offline and I also don't want to put them in the atmosphere\content folder as they are too much that will most likely lag like hell.

You can use the Breeze app and it will scan your switch for games, and download cheats auto for you, and only for the games you have on the switch.

I don't think that's what I'm looking for, I already have AIO updater which works like that, but I simply don't want to connect my switch to WiFi but rather download the GBAtemp cheat collection and add to some cheat app database without having to put them in the atmosphere\contents folder...

I wanted something like tinfoil cheats which they are all in a single file compressed and probably encrypted which doesn't make Switch to lag and when activating them, then they go to the content folder automatically to be used...

Edit: just checked breeze and oh yes it seems like it will work, will test later.

They state this on their GitHub: "For people who's Switch is not connected to the internet the file can be fetched and place in "/switch/breeze/cheats/titles.zip".
