Thanks everyone for fast response.

I cleared cache, browsing history, closed all opened windows, removed esp32 from usb. connected to my home network (with Alazif’s dns). Rebooted PS4. Launched v3b website - browser cached the content!!! . Closed the browser. plugged in ESP32 + connected to ESP network and launched web browser - success!!!
I did exactly what you did. But I have no internet connection. My esp got 192.168.0.132 in the router. When I look at the playstation system information I see 10.1.1.2. what am I doing wrong?

If your PS4 IP shows 10.1.1.2 that means it is still connected to the ESP network so thats why you have no internet connection.
You cannot connect to the internet through the ESP.

I get it now! So after setup esp. I need to connect directly to my home wifi and use alazif dns. I just got the esp chip and I'm starting to understand. Btw it now works perfectly in 5 seconds. Thank you very much for your work.

Humm, 🤔, isn’t Esp 2 mode supposed to let you connect to internet ?
Esp mode 2 connects the esp to your router and your ps4 is also connected to your router so you can call for the esp ip address to use the auto usb if you know what I mean
(both connected on the same network)

Yes, but not through the esp.

[ESP MODE1] > Your PS4 WiFi network connection is connected to the ESP access point. = no internet connection.
[ESP MODE2] > Your PS4 WiFi or LAN network connection is connected to your Home network. = internet connection.

is there a way to set local ip adress for self hosting?
i use the self host package and i am connected over vpn to internet but want to use local network but the exploit host detects vpn ip

if I understand you correctly, yes. you just need a LAN to connect the system with your pc. no internet is needed for this if that's what you mean.

i want to self host on local pc but i want to use it in local network 192.168.*.* but since the pc is connected over VPN it detects the 169.*.*.* (VPN IP detected in exploit host) and since the ps4 is blocked for only local network i can not open 169.*.*.* on ps4 so i want to give the exploit host my local ip adress in some config file or parameter that it will host locally and hear at 192.168.*.* for any connects from ps4

You could try a network dongle to put another internet connection on the computer, not sure if that would solve your problem, vpn ip change each time you boot the computer unless you have that running 24/7

so i found out that with passing exploit host.exe -a {Local-IP}
without brackets and the right local ip will work
you can pass --help for more options

so another question ->
on older PS-Phwoar! v1.4 for older firmwares the Exploit-Host-Server_v1.3.exe is included
why is now version 1.0 used or is the origin different?

Don't know if this will help but for me the selfhost never prints the correct ip for my pc I have to goto my network settings on my PC to get the correct ip for the adapter
And then I use the PCs ip to do a manual setup of ps4 network dns setup this keeps it local and blocks it from the internet

There is no difference to the end user.
While I was testing things I used my old v1exe because it had logging enabled so I could see if the cache was being installed correctly etc and I forgot to swap it for a later version in the selfhost zip.

Yep I know, tested today esp mode 2 and works like a charm 👍, I just didn’t understood why @Prb was referring to calling the ip of the esp for auto usb ? 🤔,
After setting esp and PS4 ont the same network, jailbreak from sracth full automated working (with auto GoldHen), in let’s say 10 seconds 😳, using menu cached , 2800 waiting, what a master piece you delivered 🙏

It's quite simple really
Esp1 is like a local connection between your ps4 and the esp no router (home network needed
Esp2 both esp and ps4 are connect to your router (home network) so for the ps4 to activate the esp auto usb it needs to communicate with the esp hence call for the esp ip address
Hope this kind of explains it

Just need to implement PS phive improvements in leeful v5 in esp32. I am using v5 mod of kameleon and when I use the esp32 connected to the internet, it gives me exploit failures or kernel panics, if I connect the console directly to the esp32 that does not happen

Yep I understand, you mean the menu can find the esp on the local network, 👋,

And knowing that I’m connected to internet via hotspot mobile AP (lost in the mountains with no wired internet), I’m really impressed how well it works , again @Prb and @Leeful, all my respect, 🙏

I guess I’m quite lucky though, as even with my mobile AP , I can have my laptop, fire stick, PS4, esp S2 , connected at the same time, with fixed Ip adresses that never change.

What a relief with Esp mode 2 to not have to change wifi connection for jailbreak and internet on PS4

And, huumm, 🤔, the menu search for “something “ called espressif on the local network ? The mac adress ? How the menu knows the ip of the esp ?
