Hi. I wanted to know if using the QR code injection/AR3DS would work on a 2DS console (obviously applying code to a 3DS game within sysnand)?

If you want to use QR codes (AR3DS db), you have to install a 9.5 browser cia (check my previous posts)

On sysnand, it will work on emunand, you'll have to install a 9.5 browser (check my preivous posts). But you may also want to use Gateway's code. To do so, you have to make a new file named [titleid].txt with [Cheat title]*return*CHEAT CODE.
Exemple:
For Full Hearts and Max Miamias on The Legend of Zelda - A Link Between Worlds EUR, put this:
Code:
[Full Hearts]
D3000000 14000000
128B7444 00005050

[Max Miamias]
D3000000 14000000
128B73B4 00000064
in "cheats/00040000000EC400.txt"

Would the QR injection work on an 8.1 firmware console in sysnand? Also what firmware is required if I were to use it on 3DS XL?

guys question is there any chance that we can use NINJHAX to input codes on the game?
Unlikely because you need to be running it simultaneously with the game. A method similar to HANS might prove to be a concept in the future.

FW9.0-9.5 on all 3DS consoles*.
*Does not work on any New 3DS variants.

Which game are you talking about? Also didn't found the game serial (CTR-XXXXX code) of Swords&Darkness so if you have them that would be very helpful

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Anyone by chance have codes for Zelda II NES USA? for GW or QR ? :)
I don't think that there will ever be NES codes :/

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

They probably said "Hey, why not we combine the two together and make a 'new' DS to sell".

It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

Nothing special about it other than it's more comfortable than the Lite

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

if i didn't want my games to be permanent, then i'd rent them

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.

    I don't pirate them, I Use Them :mellow:. Like I do @BigOnYa 's couch :tpi::evil::rofl2:

  • cearp @ cearp:
@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm
  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
