It didn't work for me. When launching the app from the HOME Menu, it just shows "An error has occurred. Press and hold the POWER Button to turn the system off. Please refer to the Operations Manual for details." And when launching from TWiLight Menu++, the app works. But when taking a picture, It gets stuck at "Saving PNG..." and the screen freezes and doesn't save the PNG and it doesn't do anything else. Edit: It's working now. I waited a few seconds and it saved the PNG. I used NDS Forwarder and it successfully booted from HOME Menu.dsi-camera works on 3DS too (it's on Universal-Updater) and I didn't get around to implementing shutter sounds
Weird. I can't even install the CIA with FBI! It always fails...dsi-camera works on 3DS too (it's on Universal-Updater) and I didn't get around to implementing shutter sounds
It takes about 30 seconds to save, I should look into better PNG libraries or switch to JPEG... Not working from the HOME Menu is actually normal iirc, I forget why exactly so I forgot about thatIt didn't work for me. Ok, it worked. I waited for a few seconds, and it saved the PNG. NDS Forwarder can just make the forwarder to the HOME Menu so it will launch it. Yes....GM9 can do that now..?
You can also install dsi-camera on Universal Updater....GM9 can do that now..?
Anemone3DS also uses the Camera when scanning a QR Code.This..... seems like a kind of bad quick fix, but to be fair it works.
If I could, I'd make a Luma patch for the Nintendo 3DS Camera app, and the HOME Menu camera applet.
You can also use Anemone3DS to take pictures with the Camera in the Scan QR Code option. Press R to activate the Camera.Yes.

yea it is possible to make a patch for this. and btw the shutter is not just in the camera applet and app, its in a system process: https://gbatemp.net/threads/get-rid-of-the-annoying-shutter-sound-with-shut-the-cam-up.638462/This..... seems like a kind of bad quick fix, but to be fair it works.

:|:-? so I must be on the slow bus. I thought there was a switch to turn that sound off.
-Or why not just turn the volume down completely
That n3ds camera click is REALLY lound when the volume is turned up to max. It sounds like a door clicking
