Therefore what does this fork do different?

Also what do i need to do to change my current insall of https://freeshop.pw/ to this latest fork? And if i do will my current games and data stay intact?

thanks
The changes are literally on the release page linked in OP: https://notabug.org/arc13/freeShop/releases

Install the CIA for this fork using FBI, it will overwrite the old FreeShop.

Also just to help understand this i read about opening the actual nintendo eshop and games showing as installed and being able to officially update, could someone please help and explain all this?
FreeShop uses proper title keys when installing, this means the eShop application sees the games as being properly installed, and will correctly install updates for games from your own region. There's not much to explain.

Too many devices connected to your router. Crappy router. Bad internet connection. Interference. Could be a number of things.
Strange... the router seems to work just fine because my pc can rech 3mb/s easy. But I may try to change to a new one that my ISP provided.

EDIT: The router was the problem. Now that I change it the speed tops at 800 kbps.

I am experiencing problems with adding games to the Queue.
When i do so the program locks up and is completely unresponsive for a while.
Sometimes i can keep using it after a while, other times i need to do a hard-reset.
European New3ds XL, Luma 7, 11.4

You said that sometimes you can use it again, about how long do you need to wait? Also, what SD card do you have?
i just kept my queue open while adding a game to it.
It does not freeze, i was mistaken.
I simply can not interact with my console at all until it actually begins installing the title, then it resumes all functions.

Is this an improved version of freeshop? What does it do differently compared to the old one? Will this version of freeshop be the one receiving updates from now on or is it okay to stick with the old version?

Yes. See changelog. It will receive updates and the old version will not.

It's not the movies or games downloads that I would worry about, like breaking into networks, downloading encrypted things, spying on network traffic. I have seen so many "Top Secret" seals on files when I was a kid

I was obsessed with finding UFOs, a surprising amount of US files where stashed on computers in other countries, China back in the early 90s omg sooo much

Yea that crazy, I've never tried hack into anything, I just pirate, and my ISP have send me 3-4 letters, so had to VPN it
