I figured that since all the issues that caused freeshop to be taken down has been fixed, I might as well re-upload it on the original hosting site....

I mostly made this for me, considering that I use Github Desktop, and not a real Git Client....

Do it for yourself all you want, but linking it is completely unnecessary. You'll eventually forget to update it, people will go there and post bugs, make PRs, whatever, and shit is going to get extremely messy in no time flat. OP chose notabug, unless you're creating your own fork (In which case, post in a new thread), just deal with that choice.

I know that you don't want what happened to TheCruel discussed here, but I think it would be just fair to let people know that the reason he won't be updating FreeShop for the next 20 years has absolutely nothing, and I mean not the slightest bit to do with hacking the 3DS, providing means to pirate the games and so on. You know, just to reassure people it's safe to use that tool.

Thanks. I am sure that there will be some kind of statement clearing things up once the mods have thought it through, as it's simply impossible to not speak up on that matter, but until that is sorted out people should know that their hacks won't get them into trouble.

A: No, you can freely use freeShop, TheCruel didn't get caught because of that.

Maybe that should say yes instead of no, at first glance it looks like it says 'No, it isn't safe to use this'. Like 'Yes, the freeShop is safe to use and is not related TheCruels offense' would work because you know how thorough a lot of people read descriptions and faqs

I don't think this would be that easy unless they add like a 2nd section on freeshop for a theme shop clone or something.

Also can't we just download the theme pack from freeshop, delete it and then download the themes individually from the official shop?

Yes, it should be possible to implement that feature, I will do some test about it.

And I don't think your strategy will work @TheGuyMadeOfTofu, but you can still try.

It started. But after approx 30 seconds it crashed.
After a restart i heard the music but the top screen was black.

This bug is reproducible. After 30 seconds it crashes me to the homescreen (already there the top screen is black)

Yes, it should be possible to implement that feature, I will do some test about it.

The problem with implementing a feature like that is lack of info as far as I'm aware. There isn't a list of what index in the DLC "ticket" is associated with what named DLC, so while you could probably let people select "Index 0", it may be difficult to show that Index 0 is "Pokemon Skin" or whatever.
