-UPDATE-
Also replacing the 3DS/DS cartridge slot with a microSD card slot would make it a lot slimmer as well.I live in a third world country, everybody that I know that has a 3DS/PSVita already has an internet enough good to download a game.
The fact that there are download managers on handhelds make the internet connection that you have not much relevant,
you'll eventually download the game. I already said this on my previous post.
Today an SD card of 32GB is dirty cheap, I have one, I use only digital, I have plenty of games and I still have not used it all.
Try comparing an SD from 10 years ago to one of nowadays. The SDs tend to get bigger and cheaper by the time.
Try looking at a 3DS motherboard, the card slot isn't that little, it occupies a relevant space and taking it out could certainly make it slimmer.

Heck, the NX may be going for that with its recent patent.
"Everybody" you know isn't everybody. Download managers can fail and again why worry about it, when I can just pick up the game?I live in a third world country, everybody that I know that has a 3DS/PSVita already has an internet enough good to download a game.

The reason they are using carts now, is probably because it is cheaper and more secured than SD cards. So, if NX is changing from disks, it will probably be carts too. Also replacing the 3DS/DS cartridge slot with a microSD card slot would make it a lot slimmer as well.

Don't have to rely on the Memory card and worry about filling it up as fast.
There are other things that make it thicker. You can't make it, or at least that much, slimmer without taking those things out too.
You may think you got everything figured out and think digital is so perfect, but you still pushing away a lot of people for no real or small reasons and benefits.
The thing is already slim as it is. I remember people complaining about gripping the thing.
I'm not "down with digital", but I'm not digital only either.

Were you also one of the guys who supported the Xbox one on its initial plans of always-online?If a download fails, you can restart the download from where you stopped, sooner or later you will download the game, no matter your internet connection. you will download it eventually.
As I said, 3DS games aren't big, a 32GB cart is dirty cheap and you won't be needing anything bigger.
It's not that slim thought, isn't much lighter either, I have a PSVita Slim and that is what I would call thin and light,
also the grip is a lot better than 3DS, Sony knows how ergonomics work, but Nintendo seems to not understand it.
Is this just speculation or do you have anything to prove that?

A bit is fine, but remember the last case of the third title? Ugh, I love Maya but...Wouldn't mind bit more "magic" in these games. We already have a Spirit Medium and Phoenix Locks. Anyway, Apollo confirmed.
@VMM I will reply later.
If it's like Dual Destinies and previous games, it will come on 3DS first and iOS later.HOLD IT!
for which plataforms?
