Well, I tried this on 2 cousin's Wiis.damysteryman said:That REALLY REALLY strange...YayMii said:Well, the problem is... it is disabled. But for some reason, if I turn those hacks on, SMG2 works properly (it's forcing the disc to cIOS38 r17).damysteryman said:Does your cousin's Wii have priiloader/startpatch on their Wii?
If so, check that the "Force Discs to use IOS249" aka "IOS Reloading" hacks (or similar ones) are disabled.
Do you have both priiloader and startpatch?
If so, they may be conflicting.
If not... maybe make a NAND backup then reinstall your sysmenu, successfully nullifying both?
One had only priiloader, it gave Error #002. It worked fine in NeoGamma. This Wii was 4.2U, updated through Wii Menu, and had cIOS 19. the only hack that was enabled was the "Disable HAXX/DVDX/RZDx checks".
The other had StartPatch for disabling updates, and a Priiloader that didn't have any hacks (forgot the hacks.ini file
My Wii has only Priiloader, but it works fine. The only hacks enabled are the HAXX/DVDX/RZDx check, disabling updates, and "auto press A at health/safety screen".
All three Wiis had cIOScorp previously installed.
