More like, don't update with a9lh if you are using Nightly builds of Luma. a9lh is still almighty.
Says I have 6.3.1 (Dev). I installed normal version but it still shows as dev after installing and rebooting. So I'm fine then?

Dev and nightly are different things, dev version is just makes your 3DS "simulate" a devkit. Nightlys, are beta releases, so yeah, you should be fine with the dev version (though not really recommended over the normal version unless you know what is it

However, the dev and normal versions were merged in the last couple Luma releases. There's just the merged version and the nightlies now.

Ah so I was able to get the Fieldrunners downgrade to work, and then get into the Homebrew menu through OoTHax. However, my Kernel version and my FIRM version are 2.52-0. Also, I can't use sysDowngrader because it fails to get the am:u handle.
