is there away to accesses the original 21 games to compress the art work and the roms ? anyone found away to do more compression ?
Neither, I just want to keep everything in Canoe. Nothing against retroarch and I haven't been using borders yet, so I can't speak to them, but my preference for my SNESC is to only have SNES games on it, and only run them natively in Canoe. It's purely a personal preference.
the original roms are on read only memory and do not take up any usable space unless you compress them.is there away to accesses the original 21 games to compress the art work and the roms ? anyone found away to do more compression ?

why to compress the original games?
they are in a other nand sektion where you dont add your games.
they are not necessary anymore for the spacce where you add your games

game is game and there is no difference between canoe and retroarch when you play it
öhm i patched yesterday breath of fire 2 us to german translation and have no compatiblity problem with the game.
the strange is that some trouble games works fine at my mini snes like double dragon or tales of phantasia
and? you would fond no difference in playing. Not entirely true, the emulation for certain chips is better in canoe, however most of the games which where those chips would matter already 'work'.
why compress the original games when the are not need because they are not in the space where you add the games? My only issue with not being able to modify those files, is that it means in order to have uncompromised versions of the games ('no epilepsy patches'), you have to double up the roms and add in the same roms again using up space that could have been utilized for a different game...
the original games are since 2.21 in a extra nand where you only can read itDoes anyone know how can the stock games be replaced?
I have the stock Final Fantasy VI, Mario RPG and Zelda all patched (spanish translation) and working and I'd wish to replace them, not add them as new games.
When I enter to usr/share/games I see that all files are a quite bytes only (they seem that they are shortcuts) not the entire file.
If I replace them (with filezilla) they work but if I add/restore games with hackchi, the games are the stock games again.
Same with covers, as I have a pal snes, I want to change them with pal covers.
Maybe @Cluster can help me...
Thanks.
and? you would fond no difference in playing.
and we dont speak from a cs4 or super fx game

the original games have it own nand space
I have used all the mods (They work) and they can be used on the original 21. I'm not sure what you mean about documentation that needs to be passed.Has anyone tried using the "snes_custom_filters" mod? Is there any documentation on the arguments that are available and that need to be passed?
Also, is there a way to apply these filters to the Original 21 games?
Thanks for any help you can provide.

You should be able to find the frames in the retroarch menu under settings->overlay borders, or something like that.can someone explain this?
snes original resolution nintendo windows is more little than 1:1 or core in retroarch even with integer on....why? they are same in theory??
also how to activate frames on retroarch like on original snes mini?

THe snes_custom_filters allows the ability to remove scanlines etc., and I have seen reference to the use of the --no-scanlines argument which needs to be passed.
That being said, I cant seem to find a full argument list. I am also wondering if this argument can be passed to the original games.
I hope this makes sense.
Thanks.Yes, you add --no-scanlines to global commands, that's it.
